i was looking all around trying to get the tab documents to be in a seprate window you are a life saver thank you so much...now its starting too fel like psp 9 what im used too
So glad I came across this video. I have the newest PSP2023 and I cannot for the life of me figure out how to install my plugins. I have PSP9 for many yrs, but Windows 10 updates caused my program to stop working, so therefore, I purchased the present version. It is sooooooo much more advanced and I'm trying to learn as much as I can with this program, but the plugins I cannot figure out. You did mention the difference in installing the 32 bit vs 64 bit, I believe I only installed the 64 bit and was not aware there was an option to install both? I went ahead and put my plugins into the Windows 32 bit folder (created a plugin folder) and that didn't work. So now I'm at a loss at to what to do. I've also noticed that Corel PSP2023 folder in my docs does have all the presets there but nothing is in them, so I tried to put a brush in there, and opened up my PSP and that brush did not install. When I go into the brushes in PSP I do see what Corel has, but I wanted to add my own from when I was using PSP9. Anywhooo, what do you suggest I do about installing my plugins?
Thank you so much! I am new to all this and I have an eye problem so everything on my 55" monitor is huge. I couldn't find anything until you pointed out the files. I look forward to more of your videos.
Do I need to inslall some dlls for the old filters to work in the 32 bit version? I recall we had to do that when upgrading to some of the later versions of windows.
where ore how do I install the 32-bit version of paint shop pro 2022? I bought the 22 ultimate version but it is 64-bit and cant use any of my plugins. Please help me how to install a 32-bit version
This what very helpful in getting me started. Although mine didn't open up to the default photos, I did find them. It has been a few years since i used PSP so I had forgotten a lot. But when you mentioned making new folders for you psp stuff I remembered doing that before. I have no other versions on this computer and I didn't download the 32 bit and I don't want to uninstall this to add the 32 bit, do I really need to? TY
Hi, No at this stage you do not need the 32 bit version. You will need it only for older plugins really. The newer plugins are 64bit and work with that version. I am trying really hard not to use plugins for most of the tutorials as I know a lot of people are having problems getting them to work.
Hi Darlene, Both the 32 & the 64 bit come with the package. When you installed it you would have been asked if you wanted to install one or the other or both. But the 64bit is usually the recommended one and that is what most people would install. I always install both. The best to do is uninstall and reinstall and then select both the 32 & the 64bit to install
Hi James, I really cannot answer that as I don't use either Photoshop or Lightroom. My son uses Lightroom for his photography, but he lives in Singapore and I am in Australia, so can't really check that either. Sorry I couldn't help with that question.
Just in case I need them for something. You can use all of the plugins in version 9 as the plugins have not been updated as the program itself has. A lot of the older plugins do not work with the newer versions of PSP. The other versions I keep in case someone asks me a question about them.

Glad to be of help. That has frustrated so many people, I am not sure why they did that, but once you know how to fix it, everything is good again. :)

Glad I found you. I just have a question: can you turn down the music or turn up the voice, there is too big a difference between the two.

You are so welcome!

@@creativediscoveryinpaintsh9155 Ok..I no longer see the 32 bit so I will uninstall and reinstall. Thanks.
Can presets for Photoshop or Lightroom have a possibility of working in Paint Shop

Why do you keep the older versions installed?
Just in case I need them for something. You can use all of the plugins in version 9 as the plugins have not been updated as the program itself has. A lot of the older plugins do not work with the newer versions of PSP. The other versions I keep in case someone asks me a question about them.
