I think Aaron is at his best unlike anyone in football when he is just having conversation. So glad to have met him, and I will never forget how he treated my wife and kids, as well as myself. It was so great to talk about fun stuff and never mentioning football, just having a relaxed and enjoyable time with a really great and wonderful person.

Like out of all the books you could read it's prob the easiest to read for just how good the book is since it doesn't use super sophisticated language and interruption. I actually think Aaron doesn't sell the author enough, Jon Krakauer did an INSANE job at taking you through this true story, showing instead of telling. Without spoiling anything, it's a simple story of just a dumb naïve kid who took the world head on and truly lived life, he always took what the world gave him and made it better. It really sparks a classic analysis for me of who truly lived a better life? The man who spent their life accumulating money and power or other materials just to end laying on their back like everyone else or the man who seemed to seek experiences and relationships even if he lived poorly, always leaving things better then it was before. It allows a lot of self-reflection imo and a must read for literally every single person in the world as it's simple, easy to read and impactful whether you realize it immediately. Most people seem to finish this book with an appreciation even if logically they think it's dumb. It's always important to remind yourself to live in the moment and appreciate everything life and people have to offer.

Social media and media advancements have made it so all these professional sports leagues don’t need a channel on cable to share their content. They can create their own app etc and they will. NHL and MLB will still need ESPN to continue to grow their fan base and help them reach a larger audience but ESPN ratings are way down, idk how much longer that’ll hold up.
