I remember that Steve Hackett solo in Firth of Fifth from SEBTP walking home from my girlfriend and thinking how cool is that solo ? This was about 1981 when I was 16. A little late getting into Genesis in 1980 I bought And then there were 3 because I loved Follow you follow me and right from the opening track Undertow I was hooked with that opening synth and wouldn’t allow myself to flip the album over to the last track. Greg you are such a brilliant advocat and musician for Prog rock, incredible talent you have sir.
A mate of mine used to grumble because I used to play various Prog albums in my lab that I used to run … he used to say “uhhh thinking man’s music”…he was from Leeds ad rough as f**k lol great guy and I turned him,,,haha I gave him a recording (very naughty) of Then there were 3 and he loved it… hahah
