We asked each of the musicians to stay close to their respective inherited musical traditions, allowing the singers an opportunity to present some pieces that are rarely heard today.We are inspired to present the brilliance of this contemporary Pakistani music to a wider audience and seek your financial assistance in making this possible.

The Dream Journey: This is emotionally intense! Very difficult to hold tears, It is rare that a legend's next-generation does justice to their reputation. In the case of Tufail Niazi Sahib, Babur and Javaid Niazi are an exception. When I listened to the first time in APMC concert, I felt totally disconnected from my immediate surroundings. On the wings of their sure, I traveled distance lands. Same about this rendition. What a gift, THe Dream Journey, Thanks

Tufail Niazi is a genre of music unto himself; earthy folk music in which expression of the heart pining for the beloved is done in a manner unmatched. He has no parallel but his sons do admirable service to all of us to recreate the magic. Listening to him takes me on a emotional roller-coaster; tears coming uncontrollably; good tears though so thanks Dream Journey

The greatest thing about Mian Tufail Niazi was his dedication to keep the purity and rawness of folk alive. Both these sons are worthy successors of an irreplaceable legend. This family has produced several legends including Bakhshi Salamt, Ustad Muhammad Ajmal Khan ( one of the most honorable disciple of Mian Shaukat Hussain who recently passed away). This song portrays innocence and irrevocable loss in an unparalleled manner and shows the elegance of rural simplicity. I hope people study Mian Tufail Niazi shb and understand the significance of his music. A sincere request to The Dream Journey, please have them sing 'Kadi a vey mahi galay lag we'.
