  • In one of their most important yet, Time Team gets to investigate an area of land that, up until recently, had been underwater. The discoveries there prove hugely important for Dartmoor archaeology, with the site hiding a previously unknown stone circle.

    11:53 …Phil projecting that kinda positive energy after all these years and all those amazing digs….only time I see him happier is when he is called in for flint knapping….you can tell he really loves his craft…I share in his joy and aspire for something similar for myself too…love time team… Edit: on the infectious joy note… Francis Pryor also had me all smiles through the episode…

    I think Stuart Ainsworth does not get the credit he deserves in this show. He's a really smart man. His interpretation of old maps and the landscape is genius.

      I know I didn’t give him his due credit for about the first 6 months of binge watching time team, but agreed he really is incredible and I’m glad I too noticed his worth

    Whenever I watch any other show about archaeology, this show just shines over them in every aspect. I literally come back to these shows like comfort food, again and again. And it is always satisfying. :-) what these folks did was amazing. Didn't I hear that the Queen gave Tony a Knighthood or something for his role in popularizing British archaeology? Tony was a respected, integral part of the team even though he was not a scientist like all the others. He was our representative he was our average guy but this average guy understood theater and how to present information by telling a story with a story arc, tension and resolution of tension. It was a beautiful team. And I'm in love with Phil😁❤️

    Stewart needs more credit for his genius. Anyone who can read a thousand year map and make sense of it deserves a raise 😂

    Series 18, Episode 1, Tottington, Devon, Reservoir Rituals. For context and time, I wish they would put the year and episode on the videos. I usually watch them over on the Time team You tube Channel. They are all dated.

    I have a crush on Matt. I’m glad he’s in the new episodes. Still a handsome man. And smart to boot! Happy I found an episode I haven’t seen yet. I’m running low. I’m about to start rewatching while waiting for new ones 😂

    Francis is generally very tiresome. He's much too comfortable in his tenure. I can't stand him, actually. I won't watch his ego games...

      I was just thinking that Francis comes across as a well-meaning charlatan. ='[.]'=

    • @jrmckim
      @jrmckim ปีที่แล้ว

      What are you talking about? Both Mick and Francis are set in their ways. They are grumpy old men who want it their way or no way... especially Mick. He literally was so hateful to come host Mary Ann that she quit after just a few episodes..His problem? She didn't have a degree in archeology. Guess who else has no degree? Sir Tony. BBC hired Mary Ann.. if he had a problem, he should have taken it up with them, not make someone feel less than human over a dang TV show.
      I love Mick but he can be too much at times.

      @@jrmckimTime Team was Mick's baby. When they steered it away from what he and Tim originally created, he got upset. I don't blame him. Also, Francis comes off like an arrogant twit.
