Wonderful. You were the first artist that I saw using pouring paint, this was a few months ago and you made it look so easy! Ha! My mistake to think that it was. You are a pro Mark and you give lost of inspiration to budding painters. As you say in nearly all of your films, “take your time, step back look at what you’ve done and think about what you’d like to do next”. Wonderful advice. I love the simple way you have created this and the colours are at one with our autumn. I wonder if you have any ideas for a Christmas painting (yes it’s only just 8 weeks away). Peace & Love from Cheshire
This is so cool Mark. Bright and beautiful. Looks like you were really having fun with this one. I enjoy watching your facial expressions. You brought a smile to my face as always, my friend.
Simple technique, but still a beautiful piece. I've always overworked my projects thinking more is better. It's not always. Thank you for sharing this.
Its beautiful and fun. I love it. It reminds me when i was a kid grabbing an arm full of colorful leaves and throwing them up in air just to see where they would fall. Mostly on my head. But very nice and fun.❤❤❤
Absolutely awesome! You never disappoint with your choices of color palettes and composition. Love the bright cheerful colors. Especially like the middle. Thank you for sharing your expertise. Always a pleasure to watch your creations.
@@MarkJRatcliffeArt Thank you! I truly appreciate you too and I especially appreciate all I have learned from your videos. You are so good at explaining everything and it really helps when someone is just starting out or even if they are pros. I am sure many viewers have learned to much from you. Thanks!!
That color pallet was quite nice. Reminded me of the lines in a lace agate stone. I'm new to pour painting, getting tips and recipes from all you TH-cam fluid painters ; )
Oh wow Mark its stunning, its just so beautiful to look at. Something reminded me of going down to Brighton in the early mid 60s as a small child and watching the Rock makers stretching the candy into logs etc. Making the Humbug squares and the Rock sticks 😊😅 Just amazing pour Mark. ❤❤❤
Bonjour Sweet Mark 🥰. 💚🤎💛🧡❤️
Thank you so much Caroline for always letting me know what you think and how it inspires you. I look forward to seeing your egg box pour! And I really appreciate all your support and encouragement so thank you always 🤩🤩🤩
In the first place I watch your videos because I so like listening you speak and explaining details. You seem to be a very friendly man. I try the fire ring too in the next days. This one is beautiful, too 😊 greetings from Germany
Ohhhh Those Autumn Colors are just so beautiful .I like that fact that there is some black lines in between the colors and it's almost as if the colors sank in the black and it gives it a ''smokey Look'' Nice job as usual Mark. Hugzzzz from Quebec to you my friend 🥰🥰
What a bright stunning piece!!! I love everything about it. Those black "deep gaps" between the bright colours are gorgeous. I am impressed about all those thin lines and nothng getting muddy. Awsome job 🖒💖 PS: it would be interesting to run a marble through the lines before tilting the paint over the edges. Maybe it would end up looking a bit "overloaded", but it might be worth a try... 😉
Very unique and those lines were fantastic. I thought we would see some mud. Loved insight on opaque and semi transparent. I need to do a better job of thinking that thru...
Wow, it's glowing! 😊 Those glow in the dark paints came to my mind, when I saw this painting. Have you ever tried it? I've never tried it with pouring technic, I'm just wondering, if it works or not?🤔 I should try!😊
Hello Mark, je trouve cette toile superbe, les coloris sont magnifiques, les mélanges, superbe effet. Quelle mesure pour la consistance ? Bref, magnifique, bravo ❤
It’s all in the description box Mary - I always share my ratios for consistency in there. (1:1:3 ratio) Thank you so much for your kind words- I very much appreciate them 🤩
There are opaque yellows - I know Amsterdam does one and I’m sure others don’t, mainly listed as “primary yellow” or similar - it’s just about being mindful of the opaqueness of a color when doing a dark background within your palette
It’s almost akways dry here in Sedona Arizona, US, nothing like my hometown New York. I’m in a house share so I have to be very careful if I do fluid art here. I’d have to do it in my room.

Thank you so much! I once did a puddle pour glow in the dark paints. Was great! 😊
😮 The lines and colors are perfect not to mention another master class! How about reds and purples?
Thank you so much Carla! 🤩
So pretty, soft pillowy glowy. What do you line your table with? Do you protect the floor?
Thank you. I don’t I’m afraid, I just let the paint go on the floor
Ben bunu merkez kahverengi ,turuncu, kirmizı,pudra ,altın ve yeşille denemek istiyorum. Teşekkurler harika❤❤
Thank you so much ☺️
I was thinking I did not care too much for the stripes at first but it turned out nice.
Thank you so much. I always find it so much fun to see how a creation evolves
Very nice Mark did you say what was your pouring medium? Such pretty colors! Thanks for sharing!

how long do you let it dry before you put on the varnish /and how do you put on the varish
Dry and cure for 3/4 weeks and then I use a spray gloss varnish
Vibrant Autumnal palette❤. Would you recommend trying to find a yellow that is more opaque? or is there any such thing?
There are opaque yellows - I know Amsterdam does one and I’m sure others don’t, mainly listed as “primary yellow” or similar - it’s just about being mindful of the opaqueness of a color when doing a dark background within your palette
where do you put your name on the pictures. I love the way you paint
Thank you! I always sign the back
How long does something like this take to dry?
A few days “dry to touch”, a few weeks to fully cure.
It’s almost akways dry here in Sedona Arizona, US, nothing like my hometown New York. I’m in a house share so I have to be very careful if I do fluid art here. I’d have to do it in my room.
