I appreciate the longer video. You are honestly the only creator making KCD2 content besides ESO's "Blacksmith" video that I'm interested in watching because I have a similar playstyle.
The Lullaby potion not knocking out NPCs instantly is by design, as one of the devs explained during a livestream. It's basically a strong sleep drug, so they'll feel tired and just go to bed. If you want NPCs to just get knocked out and ragdoll instantly upon imbibing a potion, you'll probably need the Dollmaker potion or something. At least that's how it used to work in KCD 1. 5:11 Huh... I think they still need to do some balancing for projectile damage and penetration. Crossbow bolts, even weak ones, definitely don't bounce off human skulls. That was a point blank headshot and the guy just shrugged it off lol. It was hilarious though
Only several days to go now. One of my favourite things to do in KC1 was hide in the woods and follow people along foot paths. Knowing that they never knew I was there really gave me the satisfaction I needed from playing the game. Gonna go all out in KC2
Thank you for making authentic KCD2 videos! Most of the videos I’ve seen on TH-cam are mindless opinion-drivel overlaid on footage we’ve all seen 100x already. You and Strat Gaming make the best KCD2 content I’ve seen.
Wish they didn’t do this again. Thought they had a lot more voice actors this time. Breaks immersion. For a game being made solely around immersion, it’s a bit weird.
@@NeakMeakk They said that the pool of english voice actors in Prague is very small, so that's why they have the same actors again. Surprised honestly, but it is what is. You can see that with Stalker 2 as well, because their HQ is in Czech, they had the whole KCD cast in their game as well.
Hah, amazing^^ I was thinking earlier today; I hope this guy uploads another KCD2 video with more details and no fuzz. Lord and behold he does exactly just that. Love it!❤
Hi. No, this was great...can't get enough of KCD2 at the moment...still six and a half days to go so all your vids (and the longer the better as far as I'm concerned) are very much welcome. Just watching you go about and generally just looking around and battling bandits, etc is great to witness. Cheers bud.
Did you happen to be able to test if the crime system is a little less buggy? In the first game, if you stealth killed a guard, they would respawn that npc later and your rep would still go down and sometimes youd get a bounty without other witnesses around
How does the AI feel in combat? It seems to me that the AI attacks one at a time and all other AIs just stand and wait for their turn. I think it's a lot easier than in KCD 1.
i hope i have option to make them more hard i know its move to make new players or some people that left the first bcz of combact but give the option for people want more challenge or i think i will not use powerful perks to keep the balance cz i dont want in the end i can kill anyone with one hit bcz no responds from him hope the AI be more hard or option for that
So far this is different from situation to situation tbh. Sometimes when I am surrounded 2-3 will attack me all at once, but like you said many times they seem to be designed to not charge you all at once. Maybe not 100% realistic but honestly I am glad thats how it works, one decently skilled fighter combined with an enemy archer is enough trouble for me as it is xD
I have one problem since the first gameplay reveal, NPCs don't attack together at the same time, they don't make a big effort getting to your blind spots, generally very passive when you are not directly targeting them. I hope they at least fix that for Hardcore mode
@@lorddiethorn Which is a problem, in KCD1 1v3 was essentially a death sentence unless you were very skilled and well-armored. Here 1v3 seems to be essentially 1v1+1+1, which makes it extremely easy to fight off.

@singleplayersquad1 God help that guy who was feeding people to Gators in RDR2 back in 2018 haha. If someone like that gets their hands on this or GTA6.
If this game has similar mechanics to the first game then the reason you wasn’t able to stealth kill the guard is probably because you need higher or equal stats to the NPC. Peasants usually have low stats, making them easier to stealth kill and knock out, being able to do it to guards during early game usually takes a few tries.
@@singleplayersquad1 I meant look the same, the dialogue would be harder to avoid lol. Thanks for the response! Btw while I have you here; are the bathhouses in all major towns/cities or just the heavily populated ones. Do they all offer the entire service or understandably limited in smaller towns?

If the NDA allows you to say something about the bonus quest could you tell which stage you can find the Lion Crest armor either early or later in the game?
it will be like the warhorse armor in the first game so probably after the first few mission and once you get into the open world, and then it will most likely be a tressure hunt with maps and such
it would be at the end of the quest with preorder but i’d say it’s after the halfway point because they shouldn’t give you OP armour early game for preordering
Let me try this out for the next video. This may not work because guards will probs recpgnize by your face that they do not know you as one of their colleagues, but I will try it.
Hey, thank you for your viedos they are very good I have a question, in the video u said that you can not no more insta-kill guards anymore ,thats right ? Will you need a perk to do soo or something, or its maybe related to the skill level of sneak ? Thanks again and good luck with your next projects
In my experience you can also stealth kill guards but they have a chance to prevent your stealth attack since they are more experienced than pedestrians. Thats at least how I think it works
@@singleplayersquad1 yea it's basically your strength stat against theirs. If they have a higher stat (which you don't know if they do or not) they can break out of your stealth kill. Guards have higher stats than pedestrians.

If I have one criticism about the game, it is that enemies take too long to draw their weapon... To the point where it gets comical. Stealth would be more realistic if NPC who caught You got startled and draw their weapon immediately...
I have to say that this is really random. Sometimes they definitely do draw them instantly as soon as you start screwing around. Sometimes they seem to forget about it or maybe it is bugged
@@singleplayersquad1 It feels like, they slowed it down as a protective measure, since I assume these are different states of the NPC behaviour. So for example, if NPC is sitting on a bench and you attack them, were they to instantly go into battle ready position, they would probably clip through the bench... So perhaps, they gave that time delay to create a smoother transition between animations maybe? Whatever the case may be, it feels really off at times...
