Nicely tied once again Stuart.... Speaking of what fly to tye next. I've seen a nice modern style Templedog fly with a short body. It was in T&S it consists of a piece 10mm long fluorescent plastic tube then a small cone, fluro fibres tail which is kicked up and becomes 1st wing. This part is the coolest a "composite hackle" which is different shades of Angel hair and soft hackle fibres or fur. The next part is the middle /top wings topped off with peacock herls and a micro turbo cone to finish. I liked the look of the Willie gunn myself and I will definitely tye it. I can see a lot of triggers in this fly for the Salmon.... Denis O toole was the one who tied it. 😉🎣
paul connor I remember editing the photos for it :) Denis tied our first videos on the channel. Will have to see he if he will come back over to do some more videos about composite hackle templedogs.
Beautiful fly
Thank you
