You posted this light green abaya you got from Iraq once, and that was so stunning that it really made me want to find something similar. You're new to it, but you're doing really well. I want to share with you one of the miralces of our prophet muhammad,
I don't know if you knew before
قال مسلم في صحيحه (1007): حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو تَوْبَةَ الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ ، يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَلَّامٍ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَّامٍ ، يَقُولُ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ فَرُّوخَ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَائِشَةَ ، تَقُولُ : إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " إِنَّهُ خُلِقَ كُلُّ إِنسان من بني آدم على ستين وثلاثمائة مفصل، فمن كبر الله، وحمد الله، وهلل الله، وسبح الله، واستغفر الله، وعزل حجرا عن طريق الناس، أو شوكة، أو عظما عن طريق الناس، وأمر بمعروف، أو نهى عن منكر، عدد تلك الستين والثلاثمائة السلامى ؛ فإنه يمشي يومئذ وقد زحزح نفسه عن النار ".
Ayesha the wife of the prophet reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
Every one of the children of Adam has been created with three hundred and sixty joints; so he who declares the Glory of Allah, praises Allah, declares Allah to be One, Glorifies Allah, and seeks forgiveness from Allah, and removes stone, or thorn, or bone from people's path, and enjoins what is good and forbids from evil, to the number of those three hundred and sixty joints, will walk that day having saved himself from the Fire.
Sahih Muslim (1007)
And this is an authentic hadith to our prophet muhammad
So is it true that humans have 360 joints ?!

brother found the vids, simple as. i think the hijab is too extreme, modesty is important but i dont believe in the fully covered thing that muslims do. catholicism or the way afghans wear hijab seems to make more sense to me
A lot of things in life seem extreme before we know its advantages and start doing them and become really used to them, do we know everything?no, indeed we know very little of the science behind a lot of things, faith is beleiving there is an upmost benefit of the hijab as Allah discribed it and that following Allah rules doesn't add anything to Him but adds a lottt to us❤so if being covered benefits my body and soul, it is liberating to choose ourselves over what seems "normal" "not extreme" in society where everything changes and where the standard beauty is indeed suffocating and society trying to make me beleive that those extreme standards are the normal and we should fit in, it is for me, for us, hijabis, a no.
