I really enjoyed watching you paint that I struggle with being loose so it really helped I appreciate you taking your time to teach us that can't wait for your next one
I'm planning to major in fine arts and design, and it requires for us to make a portfolio based on the topics that were given and still life is always one of the main topic. I'm panicking because I never tried to draw still life before so thank you so much for this little tutorial, it'll help with my practice. But, I recommend to zoom in a little bit more on your painting so we can see it better with the full details.
I'm so glad this video helped you out! Luckily I have upgraded my camera set up since this video so I can actually zoom in so you can see better. I'm looking at doing some live streaming of some still life's which I will leave up for later viewing. Any suggestions on what we should paint or times are appreciated!! Thank you and good luck at school I majored in fine arts as well and loved every minute ❤!
Live streaming would be very helpful. I have watched this a few times in an attempt to “see” what you see in determining the shadow colors. I appreciate the information and instruction. Thanks
This is a great idea!! Woyld you want to see more still life's like this one where we could go over what I'm seeing and questions could be asked and answered during the stream?! I finally have a set up so I can stream with multiple cameras for different angles!! I would love to hear your input on what we should paint, and any days or times that would be best!
Hi @Helen Blaufarb and thank you! No I didn't wet the whole paper first, just the area that I would be working on. This was more of a wet on dry technique. Thank you for your question.
wow, this is a great tutorial!I really liked him! I generally like your videos. Keep up the good work! P.S. sorry if there are mistakes, I'm from another country.
