Hello people, So watching this live-action and the anime i must tell you that it just have the same story between it but in the ending shuji was protected in the manga and anime whilst here he travels the whole saharra dessert just to find her parts that has fallen into earth, mainly the plot of the whole story wasnt only about them two developing a mature state of relationship like irl and stuff (basically hello kitty girls or mentally ill women) its about war among side allied forces and axis forces my only theory is its basically against russia and other opposing russian country friends but surely i must tell you its not about THE JSDF vs everyone the author tried to make it realistic as possible in the terms of war but i think my conclusion about the live action is he never really watched over the details into it, i wish the anime gets a remake like neon Genesis Evangelion So we get better look into what good ending it could be.
think about it, if they mentioned names of the ppl who are attacking, then ppl can think the wrong idea of the story and think that japan has a grudge on them and using an anime to protray it, these many reasons why they don't mention it...just got to think about it!
i wonder why the makers of this anime didn't change the "enemy" into aliens invasion, hey, i thnik it will still have the same story, wherever alien attacks, chise will fly there and destory the aliens, and chise have to hide her identity of the ultimate weapon but, i understand maybe the maker of this anime is anti-war, so instead of aliens, they made the "enemy"
but then i still dont get why the maker of this anime didn't say what kind of "enemy" they were fighting. will be more enjoyable if they said who is the enemy
Looks pretty good. I loved the anime. Am i right in thinking those planes are Soviet era tu-160 bombers. I think so they look like it
they never tell u thru out the movie or the anime or manga theres deep metaphorical reasons why they do that too!

It was never stated, but it was heavily implied it was basically Japan vs Everyone.

the scenes are cool, but the music .... they should take the original from the anime. still better.
