Yeah, there’s defo a point where you think it would have been cheaper just to buy a bigger more capable bike” but it depends why you’re doing it… we just love the Monkey and enjoy making them our own. Not the best financial decision I’ve ever made🤣🤣🙈
@@SmallboreAndMore over 20k out of pocket in ten years on bike builds mate myself, do not regret it as the grin and happiness factor was worth it but unemployed now due to health and open heart surgery 2 years ago so have to be more sensible with the cash so going for looks over performance on mine but still keeping it cool looking.

I’d love to try the direct shift, just to see if any (budget) improvement can be made over the stock setup. It’s a bit ‘woolly’ as stock 😕
