Well-structured video. Takamura vs. Hawk is easily in the top 5 of the best fights in Hajime no Ippo. Hawk is such a disgusting character, but that makes him all the more interesting because he’s so talented. And he didn’t even cheat once against Takamura. Isn’t that wild?
@@BushinTalks I think he’s a genuinely vile person. It’s high testosterone paired with a bad environment. But he promoted the fight alright lol. Nonetheless I like his character a lot tbh.
The build up, The extreme Talent vs Hardwork aspect of it, stylistically the irregular boxing of Hawk and the fundamental basics of Takamura mixed with savagery made it a treat to watch. Takamura went down a weight class where it would be extremely difficult to make considering his actual weight
@@DSTNRstill not really, Takamura find out that when Hawk swayback, Hawk can’t move so Takamura only need to feint, Hawk rely on his reflex very much and his power punch while Takamura is a genius in the ring with power punch ( ofc Takamura also has good reflex from what we see in other Takamura’s match )
@@hongkim4036 he did that because when he found out he was fighting a boxer in Japan he didn't want to train because he didn't feel like he need too and that he saw Takamura and the other boxers as weak
Nah the part where Hawk GOT SCARED is the reason people liked this fight so much! I didn't even remember the whole build-up stuff bro 😭 I just love it when I see a cocky degenerate like Hawk get 100% humbled by the protagonist's inspiration, Takamura.
This fight is one of the reasons why Ippo is a top 2 anime for me. They made Hawk so easy to hate while still being relatively grounded A lot of Shounen anime have their villains kill the main character’s friends or destroy cities and those events are so far from reality that it’s sometimes hard to care about. Having the villain be a bad guy on a personal level is so much more relatable and recognisable. Hawk isn’t Hitler, he’s not Frieza or Light. He’s just a piece of shit that you could meet in your life one day, which makes it that much more effective.
Extremely Talented vs Hardwork, This anime made you realize the basics, the irregularities, savagery, harsh reality, determination, hope, trust, not to be lazy, you can't hope for something without doing, if you think all people around you is talented it's because you're not "Doing" anything to know your potential to stand beside them, to risk something, and lastly the drive to success.
Build up and pay off, hard work can overcome natural talent these are the key themes of that make this fight awesome. They were both very similar people but the difference was Takamura was trained to be a boxer while Hawk was given a license to kill. Takamura boxes while Hawk street fights and that is the reason Takamura wins in the end. People who respect boxing get the results they wish for but if you disrespect boxing then a true boxer will take you down. This theme has been prevalent throughout and even shown in Mashibas latest title fight. I really like Ippo vs Sawamura for the same reason great build up and very satisfying pay off.
This fight to me is easily the best in the series and ngl kinda made me change my fav character spots, wasn’t too big on takamura because i always though he was more of a gag, but the more he fights the more I understand and love his character
A fight where both Fighters have handicaps. Hawk didn't train hard, Takamura on the other hand was way below his Original Weight Class. (It is stated in the show that Takamura's natural weight is close to that of a Heavyweight). But the fight was beyond Awesome. Props to Morikawa for making this for us.
Hawk would kill Takamura in Street Fight like what happen in round one. But this anime was about Boxing sport so.....He lose in Boxing match in the long game. Hawk would kill Takamura so many time if that not Boxing. Hawk would kill bear faster than Takamura as well.
I’m not even gonna glaze hawk but hawk was fucking Takamura up even without boxing techniques if hawk had train including his natural fighting instincts Takamura would stand no fucking chance, ignorance is the only reason hawk lost.

It is crazy, makes you wonder if he was acting that way fully to promote the fight
Have this as my favorite. I love how close it was
Didnt you censor me out of your own comment section? 😂 @KingKoohii

the fight would been crazier if hawk trained, literally talented and hard work vs talented and hard work.
Hawk would have won then because he made takamura unconscious but his body to keep on going and rely on instincts
Wally was the same. He didnt train at all but he had more talent than Hawk himself. When Wally did eventually train he was incredible

''in 20 years time they will all be walking takamuras''

I swear hawk is down badder than King Arthur's search for the Holy Grail 💀
CRAZY 😭🙏
takamura vs hawk is goated i didnt look the same way at animation after that
Hawks low fighting style is the whole reason the fight was epic. A seriously unorthodox cocky fighter that got the audience invested in the match
Hawk Becomes a Boxer and Traveled to Japan
I'm talking about his couch BTW
Don’t forget about me once you become famous. Also takamura is the goat.
I like it the most since it passed my vibe check, i always wanted to see a fight about an angry demon fighting a smiling or sadistic demon

I I agree
The build up to the fight is soo goood
So are you planning on addressing ur disappearance from multiversus?
Who wouldn't like a ptsd fight 😂
I really wish hajime no ippo get a season 4
Does anyone know where I can watch season 3??? I’ve been looking but just can’t find it
Great video
Bro come back to mvs. I’ve missed my daily entertainment gang.
I agree with everything you said in this video so good
The bigger question is where can you find dubbed episodes of Haiji
great vid
the rage moment is also a dealbreaker for me
Plot armor isn't it lol
Bro after this fight i want another fight is mashibavs sawamura cuz they hate eachother and that match is so intense
I’ve been trying to watch a season 2 English dub for so long now and I’m convinced it doesn’t exist. Can someone help me?
i still prefer the first season animation and colouring
I'm stuck watching on Netflix I can't watch what other people can watch 😭
mashiba vs sawamura
Wait how do I watch season two I thought Netflix had all 75 episodes?
@@pshyck2094 Thats season 1. Season 2 theres DVDs but also aniwave or dailymotion that have the 2nd season
W vid
I'm more about Taka vs. Eagle
Ngl I want Ippo vs Miyata animated
It needs to happen in the manga first
i still feel like a crime was committed for not mentioning takamura's rage
Yo where do you watch these seasons
Try aniwave and a adblocker
without training and he is still so good if he dont think takamura is bad and train he maybe won😂
You just gunna ignore and abandon the multiverse community, that’s fucked up

Well takamura vs itagaki dad fight was better

2
Unrelated but Volg deserved better
burger
bro did you fart at 9:45
Hit my mic arm lmao
bro newer seasons are jus better cuz the first season was so longgg
Kimi no seika

You can say that but at the same time takamuras whole character is to get better and better as the fight goes on.
hawk is a basterd and takamura is jast a hero
I mean hawk is Diddy but no guys and kids
How you quit multi and do these wack anime reviews. Hajime would never quit like you did. Playing morty is better than w.e this is
