I was a mere teenager when U2 brought their Zoo TV Tour around the globe - my favourite band back then - and now, after 29 years, I'm so happy to see The 1975 - my favourite band now - re-use some of their coolest concepts - the old TVs, the lettering, the saxo solo against the bright screen - again.
it was kinda nice on the videos when the song first came out because nobody knew they words so they werent all singing along lol I love this song so much. I wish they would just go ahead and release the song so that I can don't have to listen to cell phone recordings of it.
Saw these guys play this in Liverpool. It was definitely a standout track in an-already unbelievable, flawless set. My jaw literally fell open and I just stood there unable to believe what I was hearing. Absolute. Fucking. Pop. Masterpiece. One of the most inspiring moments I've ever had witnessing live music and probably just about the best live show i've ever seen in my life. I can't speak highly enough about The 1975 and the overwhelming effect they've had in my life as both a musician and a listener! If i could be half as cool as this, I'd feel like i'd have made it!
