I’m with the others Shawn 😉I really enjoyed this when I read it back in 2020. The portrait of Charity living in this stifling town, full of passion and honesty and a desire for the bigger things in life. Royall is a conflicting character but I loved the writing and the echoes of Ethan Frome. Great discussion!
