Zen/Crafty, thanks for the tutorials you produce, and your teaching pace and use of the red arrows (to point out the tool icons, etc.

Very cool. I still have the older version of inkscape. Does trace bitmap work better in the new version? Heidi

I personally haven't found that it works better, although the menus and options seem to be constantly improving. So "yes" to improving in the sense that there are more and more robust options!

For these public domain or free arts, do we need to provide all the different aspect ratio files for digital downloads? Some of the fine arts when I try to scale to those ratios, it get distorted especially those Japanese fine arts , can you advise pls

Yes it depends on what you are comfortable making. For selling digital, I typically will have a bundle of the same design but 5 or 6 different sizes (20x24 inches, 11x17 inches, 8x10 inches, etc). It all comes down to how much time and energy you want to put in versus what you think will sell.

Can't you do the same thing that you did in Photopea, in inkscape?

Yes absolutely you could. You would just add a layer in Inkscape and fill with color. (Trying to show different programs so it's more of a style tutorial rather than a technical tutorial for any one program). You are correct!
