1:15 those rear views wow. Amazing those 2 propellers push the boats that fast. With the engines having such limited strokes, how do they do enough to get the boats that fast?
Chip Romer's Skater 388 with 2 Carson&Brummet 1500 HP engines ran 191 MPH officaly timed on radar, his GPS said he was going 198 MPH in the event that these boats are launching for. Search youtube for Chip Romer's 191 MPH Pass LOTO 2011
I once asked a friend when i saw a massive speed boat like this one parked up near the boat ramp " what the hell do you do with a boat like that ? ! " and when he looked at it then turned to me and said..." You go very very fast" and thats all he sad...lol. Looks like good fun to me,im glad im not financing it...lol
When your able to roll like this, trust me you work hard for it. I'm sure a lot of these guys own their business so it puts them at another level. Work hard, play hard!
BigDaddyDunes And they pay their peeps minimum wage or way under industry norms for the position. Met and know quite a few of em. They tend to be selfish pricks.
3:20 wonder if they have any money (or credit lol) just any Joe Schmoe can go buy one of those trucks AND/OR boats and start driving as they like. Or if required certain training or certifications first.
Halleffect, guessing thats not the only thing he tows with it, not to mention a powerstroke isn't going to pull that style trailer no matter how modified it is. Plus a big ass catamaran like that weighs more than the v bottom that the Powerstroke was pulling. As for fuel economy a KW triple axle is gonna get about 5-7mpg depending on what motor he has underneath the hood. My old 99 with a 525 cat averaged 4.25.
one more Q. ok, so i can pull a 35' Outlaw with an F350 easy, but do i need a crane to put the boat in the water? or can i just offload it strait from the trailer?
Launch ramp is PB2- (Lake of the Ozarks). LOZ is 92 miles long---but no one is going to run those boats up the river to the dam (@Warsaw). Too many shallows, and sandbars. I have fished tournaments at LOZ for 30 years.I'm always amazed what other anglers say about their home lakes having a lot of boat traffic or the water getting rough. I am NOT amazed at how many leave their boats on the trailer and go home after the 1st day of the tournament. NOW they have seen big boats, rough water. CYA OTW
@2braappin A lot of those big cats stand on their side (look up "tilting trailer") to be under the 8'6" legal width for towing without permits. That makes theme a huge sail in the wind. These larger trucks are just a lot more stable going down the road.
No water gets in. If it has any leaks you would not be able to hold air and besides air would be coming out....no water would get in. As far as getting inside the brake can, well can't be much different than getting moisture from snow/rain
+the stig mach 1 A semi actually makes since in this situation. I will be willing to bet all the pickups on here are near or at their max towing weight. That puts a lot of stress, wear, and tear on the truck. If you tow a lot of miles you can count on major big buck engine, transmission, brake, and other systems repairs way before what will be considered normal. A semi on the other hand is designed to haul a lot more weight and do it for 1,000,000 miles. Its systems will probably last longer between major repairs/rebuild because it is barely breaking a sweat towing lighter weight than normal. You also have safety to look at. Which one would you rather have behind you gong down a steep mountain road? A truck towing 30,000 pounds with brakes designed to stop 30,000 pounds or a semi hauling 30,000 pounds with brakes designed to stop 60,000. Another advantage to lightly working a semi against maxing out a pick up is gas mileage. Believe or not, a semi will most likely get a little better mileage. Price is also in semis favor. You can get a nice used semi with 500,000 or more miles left in its service life for less than you can get a new decked out 1 ton dually.
@AshwellAcott The dodge ram 2500 and 3500 both have the same engines / transmissions but Id suggest you buy a 3500 dually, The dual rears made the ride much more stable and less likely too "sway" on the highway And my personal choice would be a cummins diesel in the dodges, we have 40 + F350/450 and 550s all 2008 and newer that are nothing but constant problems
The Mercedes boat at the start of the video search for this video: "MTI Mercedes Benz Powerboat 193MPH" or "Skater Predator's 180mph pass at 2011 LOTO" Predator is for sale for $659,000.00 if you want to find out for your self how fast these boats can go!
perhaps the truck serves other purposes, obviously the trailer needs a truck with an air supply for the brakes, and the drop axle is for much heavier loads, i pull plenty of smaller trailers then my truck is meant for. never fails when someone has something nice, someone with nothing is gonna hate lol
I pulled a big offshore boat with my Pete 379 because there was no way in hell my Powerstroke F350 would of pulled the weight of the boat and trailer with 3 1100 Mercuisers + fuel.
That doesn't even make sense, That Tri-Drive Kenworth in this video is a company truck, look on the door. As for the powerstroke guy, have you looked or somthing?
well. these are not the boats i am thinking about. im thinking donzie. my friend has one. his co-piolet was sick one day for a race and i took his place. we topped at 90 on the choppy ocean
I think they SpeedMaster #6 Dry Sump Drives. The same drives used on OSS and SBI offshore racing boats. Bravo X Drives can't handle the torque from the engines in these boats. They are only rated for 500-600 HP The engines in these boats put out between 1000 and 1550 HP. The second boat "Out Of Control" is running Arneson Surface Drives, the same drives Unlimited Hydroplane boats use
if u didnt get the hint, these folks have money, so i dont think they really care what they use to tow there boat with, just the most effective method of gettin it there and back in one peice
Completely different caliber of boat...the trailer alone on the one pulled by the semi is unreal heavy with all of the hydraulics to put the boat up on its side at shows etc. You couldn't pull that rig with regular truck for any real distance..and you definitely couldn't stop it.
That 2nd boat is nice. But time to get out of the 90's and giver new paint. Don't paint on corvette or benz tail lights. It's cliche. Reminds me of people who put spoilers on a Dodge Neon. Nice boat like that should stand on it's own merits. It's got great lines.
That little white pickup was cute :)
Out of Control is a Skater, built in Douglas, Michigan. The ZO44 and the grey Mercedes boat are both MTIs, built in Wentzville, Missouri.
1:15 those rear views wow. Amazing those 2 propellers push the boats that fast. With the engines having such limited strokes, how do they do enough to get the boats that fast?
I'm impressed, some of the trucks alone are worth the price of admission . Beats me towing my 27' Donzi behind a blown Expedition.

this is why I love America
Love the W9. Looks like something ill do when I get the money. Anyone know if it has traction trouble on wet ramps?
Great footage, especially of that big rig launching!
...that black rig is more impressive than the red canoe!
AWESOME. My pick would be the first setup with the silver boat and the matching silver rig and trailer. Sick!
Impressive, but how does the trailerbreaks and electics handle the water?
About EVERYTHING so amazing with those, except 1 thing (imo) that being money!!
I once asked a friend when i saw a massive speed boat like this one parked up near the boat ramp " what the hell do you do with a boat like that ? ! Naive about the system ?
1:25 wonder how much of any, that regular Heavy Duty truck struggles pulling it (and accelerating) if any really at all.
3:20 wonder if they have any money (or credit lol) just any Joe Schmoe can go buy one of those trucks AND/OR boats and start driving as they like. Or if required certain training or certifications first.

that Z044 corvette boat is unreal
i actually like the trucks more than the boats
one more Q. ok, so i can pull a 35' Outlaw with an F350 easy, but do i need a crane to put the boat in the water? or can i just offload it strait from the trailer?
Performance, they are AMAZING!
Launch ramp is PB2- (Lake of the Ozarks). LOZ is 92 miles long---but no one is going to run those boats up the river to the dam (@Warsaw). Too many shallows, and sandbars. And what's the difference between those propeller shaft drives in all those boats? They're obviously various types.
just very reasonably sized boats for the weekend beginner boaters,,,,very nice.
Bill Ness Had to get 2 to start. Wife wanted one also.
You know you're a baller when you need a CDL to get your boat to the lake.
@2braappin A lot of those big cats stand on their side (look up "tilting trailer") to be under the 8'6" legal width for towing without permits. That makes theme a huge sail in the wind. These larger trucks are just a lot more stable going down the road.
I wonder how the air brakes on that trailer work after it's been under water? Spring pods gotta have problems.
No water gets in. If it has any leaks you would not be able to hold air and besides air would be coming out....no water would get in. As far as getting inside the brake can, well can't be much different than getting moisture from snow/rain
Dam that black truck is insane
do these kinds of boats actually weigh that much to warrant the semi?
They weigh a shit ton trust me
the stig mach 1 the one at 0:57 is a bit much
Dylan Lawrence all they care about is the looks
+Evan Egnatis How much a shit ton weighs?

Do you need a semi to pull a 34' offshore by Advantage? or can I pull it with F-350 or new Dodge Ram 2500 diesel
the guy in the orange shirt was like you didn't get the memo its pull your boat with a semi day
The Mercedes boat at the start of the video search for this video:
"MTI Mercedes Benz Powerboat 193MPH"
or
"Skater Predator's 180mph pass at 2011 LOTO"
Predator is for sale for $659,000.00 if you want to find out for your self how fast these boats can go!
crazy to know ive worked on one of these boats
Corvette boat?
just beautiful...no one realizes what it takes to get there with this stuff..
Boats at this race have been recorded over 200 mph. I know because I live on this Lake.
What's with the maroon red on the last cat....kinda dull no? The others are awesome paint schemes...
Table Rock is 43,100 acres. Lake of the Ozarks is 54,000 acres. How is that not larger?
was the boat at 3:00 at havasu and what kind is it???
the best part of the video was the trucks towing the boats.
How can such a high dollar operation be filmed with a $3 camera :)
@THEMASTEROFYOU2000 No, I meant a 34' Offshore made by Advantage to be exact. Avg $: 216,000
We're did you find those boats
Sort of surprised the guys with the pick-up don't have a fifth wheel instead of the "bumper" hitch. A much nicer ride.
Actually the hard working and successful club.
ok but Kenworth model is? because others tell me it's a Peterbilt?
Most of these boats for sale on powerboats website🤔🤔🤔
I ain't mad !!!!! Ballers choice !!!!!
Come on man, this whole sport is about ego!
I love how that red boat looks like a ZO6 Corvette. The name is fitting too... ZO44
Spent all that money, yet it don't even have a rod box.
What ramp was this at?
We saw you at the marina at lake of the ozarks
which brand is the black truck? 1:09 minutes of the
The power stroke truck only came 125 miles from Wentzville Mo and didn't have to come from cross country.
Where is this?
what kind of boats are these?
Recession? What recession?
Damn- must be nice 2 be on that level......Cause every one of those guys are also big to go with their big toys, they must also eat well too!!!!
sick66caddy They're all fat guys, the ones with honkin big bellies.
How much do they cost?
Gregory Johnson 1 to 2 mill depending on power. Semis: 200 to 300k.
You should check out his new MTI Z048 in all black.
Lake of the Ozarks is so much fun!
@AshwellAcott I'm a Dodge fanboy so I say get the Ram 2500. If you buy the auto trans the motor will make 400hp/800tq.
@AshwellAcott the answer to your own question is at 1:29 theres a ford 4door f350 ..
Those big cats needs a lot of foo...fuel...
Easier to pull with a tractor then just a pickup. More comfortable in a W900 then that Ford on long highway trips. Better fuel economy as well.
perhaps the truck serves other purposes, obviously the trailer needs a truck with an air supply for the brakes, and the drop axle is for much heavier loads, i pull plenty of smaller trailers then my truck is meant for. never fails when someone has something nice, someone with nothing is gonna hate lol
I'd honestly take my Malibu Wakesetter over any of those boats. Guess its just a personal preference.
"Sniff - Sniff" , I smell a lot of haters out there.
'
truck can use N shift backward while down to the water...
dont need to use R shift
I've been going boating on the wrong lake.my god thats better than porn.
at 1:29 is that a 40ft or 50ft boat?
Lake of the Ozarks is 11,000 acres larger than Tablerock.
I pulled a big offshore boat with my Pete 379 because there was no way in hell my Powerstroke F350 would of pulled the weight of the boat and trailer with 3 1100 Mercuisers + fuel.
I wonder would they trade for my 94 1/2 pickup and a 11ft. dinghy? I gaurantee it floats
this is literally a who has more money contest
That doesn't even make sense, That Tri-Drive Kenworth in this video is a company truck, look on the door. As for the powerstroke guy, have you looked or somthing?

The silver boat at the beginning goes 193 mph.....
what kind of truck is that thats alsome

Over kill. I hate it when boats like this come to the lake.
would be hard to find a 5000lb trolling motor lol
all i gotta say is these people have way too much money and im jealous
@AshwellAcott You will need that semi for your jet ski.
That lake of the ozarks
3:05 gm ls powered?
Sure beats a 6 foot aluminium dingy, even if i could afford one of those mind..8(
Ah well, dreams are free and nice to look at,
I don't dream big enough lol
These boats will do well over 100...some of them in the 175 range....
Let me adjust the rabbit ears on my CRT!!!
Those boats do nearly 200
what kinda drugs do u have to sell to get that kinda cash
what do they say? money can't buy you taste
Danny Sullivan yeah with that comment it's pretty obvious that you're just jealous of them, hater
That 2nd boat is nice.
But time to get out of the 90's and giver new paint.
Don't paint on corvette or benz tail lights. It's cliche.
Reminds me of people who put spoilers on a Dodge Neon.

manque plus que le tapis rouge et tout y est :D !!
would you like a new sock?
Tall money right there
