What another dreadful performance by Sligo !! Defensively they were awful! Never got tight on the Mayo players allowing them plenty of time and space to dwell on the ball. Hammered by 26 points in the 2015 Connacht Final by Mayo and now 6 years later a 20 point drubbing. Tony Mc Antee should resign immediately after this calamitous defeat!! Next time Sligo play in 2022 let's bring in a Jim McGuinness style BLANKET DEFENCE because they way Sligo are playing they are getting slaughtered every time they play in the Connacht Championship and the All Ireland Qualifiers like the 11 point Qualifier trashing by Offaly in 2019. Time Also for the players to get fit and spend serious time in the Gym building up physical fitness and stamina. Let's get a new management team in place NOW !!

Amazing to think that Sligo has a similar population to Roscommon yet They have only 3 Connacht Senior Football Titles compared to The 24 Connacht Titles Won by The Rossies. I guess The Roscommon GAA Board are way more motivated and urgent In demanding Titles, compared to the Sligo GAA Board Who have a small team mentality.

Roscommon are Laughing at Stupid Sligo Players and hapless management. Sligo reside in Division 4 while Roscommon and Monaghan play in the Top 2 Divisions . Zero excuses for Sligo as their population is similar to Roscommon and Monaghan.
