20:46 Yamcha uses the Spirit Ball using a bit of his own spirit energy (or life force; like Tien with his Tri-Beam, but smaller). The Spirit Bomb takes a fraction of that energy from every single living thing on the planet, be it human, animal, plant, and every other organism you can think of, condensed in one massive blast but can't be controlled easily like the Spirit Ball
Suzy, remember that Goku's new clothes from King Kai can block small attacks. So that's partially what happened when Goku took on an attack from Nappa at 4:00
Did you notice, this is the first time Gohan shows that he can fly. Also congratulations on reaching 500k subscribers, you'll reach 1 million faster soon.
I like how throughout the battle, Vegeta becomes more and more frustrated over Nappa on what was supposed to be an easy mission, and so by the time Nappa's back was broken Vegeta decides that he's more trouble than what he's worth and gets rid of him. Truly a satisfying villain moment.
I mean it's also depends how strong your Base is. If you are strong enough you can also handle the smaller multipliers without it causing any harm to the body.
Suzy, not every energy beam is a kamehameha wave. For example, when Gohan got pissed off, he put his hands together overhead and fired a yellow beam at Nappa. That was called a "Masenko" (which means Demon light).
Goku knew what he was up against, that's why he was nervous. He knew, that Vegeta was far stronger than him as soon as Vegeta powered up to kill Nappa. Little details, like the sweat on Goku's cheek was what worried me so much as a kid. And rightfully so, Vegeta is just an absolute beast
@vkdeen7570 there's more gap between saiyan saga vegeta and goku than between early namek saga vegeta and dodoria, and see how easily it was to vegeta to kill dodoria.
kinda surprising but not that much to me that Vegeta killed Nappa . he already killed one of the Saibamens . he does not really care about people that are less strong than him .
5:02 Well yeah, that's how shonen manga villains are - stand around unimpressed by everything until the good guy starts going crazy. Piccolo did the same thing. It's likely another tradition that started with DB. 5:59 Oh, so it was cool when the squad was jumping Nappa from all sides at once, but Vegeta can't interfere? This ain't a tournamennt, you know. 21:12 Not every energy blast is a kamehameha. It's like calling every punch the same name.
Firstly, Saiyans just enjoy fighting ... plain and simple... and if they're not impressed that means they can d better. Second, Saiyan have a "code of conduct" of NO HELPING Learn to fight your own battles even in a handicap state
Vegeta calls the map useless where to kill, because Goku broke his spine with Kaioken, but this fact is only made explicit in the manga and the Japanese version
Dragonball Z is a serious anime that deserves the same presentation in everything around it. This is not a goofy anime that plays around and has no consequences and is made for kids in Kindergarten to 5th grade. It leans more from teens to adults the longer the show goes on. It deserves a mature reaction that fits what is being shown.
Nappa getting his back broke by Goku shows the immediate jump to a serious moment, then Vegeta tops that moment by killing Nappa in one move. Vegeta is no joke!
As graphic as these fights have been, as intense as these fights have been, it pales in comparison to the dread and arrival of DBZ's version of Shao Khan and he's capable of doing.
To help clarify about the beam coming from Nappa, it wasn't a kamehameha wave. If the beam thrown is blue and if that person learned it from Roshi or Goku, then it's a true kamehameha wave. It's the Turtle school's signature move. But when we see a new type of energy beam coming from anybody else it's very different and sometimes has a different name like the dodon ray or tribeam from Tien for example.
Nappa's and Piccolo's powers that come out from the mouth are called "Breath Cannons" They really don't have a official name and said names can change from the user, like "Recoome's Eraser Gun" being the same as the previously mentioned. Pretty much in its core, they're the same as a Kame-Ha, though these are channeled through the mouth instead of the hands, resembling how a "Scream/Yell" would have power when exhaled when it's infused with Ki. Much like explosive novas, using Recoome's technique as an example again, his "Ultra Fighting Miracle Bomber" technique is nothing more than a explosive release of Ki, and would also have a name change depending on the user.
Nappa was evil and you could say even twisted but he cared about Vegeta. He probably didn’t think that he would ever be betrayed. I do feel a little bad for him for that reason.
The Spirit Bomb Vs Spirit Ball confusion is entirely a translation issue. The Japanese-names are much easier to distinguish, but translating them more clearly would be kinda clunky and hard to match to the mouth animation. Spirit Ball = soukidan ("spinning energy bullet") Spirit Bomb = Genki Dama ("Lifeforce energy ball", or "health ball" since "genki desu ka?" is basically "you doing OK?" in everyday small-talk.) Just the syllable count alone forces some creative translating. It made a little mess, here, but I can't really think of anything better that. :(
Wow, Genkidama... reading that is like being a child again. I'm German, having watched DBZ in German when I was a child, and that word reminds me that this was actually the German word for that attack. The synchronizers didn't translate it at all, so I'm very familiar with the Genkidama.
Sayains all enjoy fighting, Goku just happens to be one that grew up in a peaceful environment. Vegeta lets Krillin and Gohon leave so he can fight Goku at his best. Vegeta feels like he can just win and deal with the others later too.
Trust us, you do NOT want to see why Vegita is the big boss in this situation. Or, I mean, if you want to raise the stakes, action, and drama, then yeah, sure, let's watch! :D
i wonder if his the japanese ost sounds as goofy to you as the Faulconer one does to me, i just listened to vegeta's theme and while i see the appeal of being more science fiction-esque i still think the ochestral music fits the tension so much better, its a matter of what we heard first tbh, but i'm really curious if the japanese ost sounds goofy or is just ''meh'' compared to the american soundrack in your opinion.
@ I wouldn’t say it sounds goofy, just out of place. Like it was made for another anime. I’ve got nothing against it, just doesn’t make me think of DBZ when I hear it.

can someone explain to me why did goku said kaioken like kay o ken even tho it's he knows it's name after the guy who created and taught it to him kaio prononced KAÏ-Ô.
Nappa was paralyzed, after the kaioken attack!
For this Vegeta killed him!
He didn't wanna babysit him
One senzu bean and he would have been OK.
Do you think if Vegeta let him live, he would have been healed?
@@shupershanic1905 if Nappa didn’t screw up and disobeyed Vegeta, then sure I guess
yup
Vegeta isn't just talk...😥

She'll understand once they start fighting
True. He's 90% talk.
You can't call every beam a Kamehameha 😅
course u can except the makakkapotomus.. that move legit deserves it own respect

@@MaruhkatiGamingwait: have they released a remaster of DBZ already? I’ve heard good things about their OG DB Remaster.
@vkdeen7570 It's the Makokansuppo. (Butchered the spelling probably but that's it).
@Anon1gh3 yep, that's it. makakpotamus is a dbza reference because goku can't say it properly, so it calls it that 🤣
man shes gonna love vegeta i cant wait
unless you are a psychopath you can't really like Vegeta for real. Bulma IS a psychopath.
I don't think she will like Vegeta he is very disrespectfull man
Vegeta: "14:42... 14:42..."
Nappa: "What's that, Vegeta?"
Vegeta: "Happiest... moment... of my life."

The OGs remember when it was pronounced “Kay-oken!”
The proper way to say it is Kai (like King Kai)-oken

Hearing Suzy comment on Nappa's ego made me laugh. Vegeta's ego is clearly even bigger. It's so big, it's like a super ego. Or even, an ultra ego...
I see what you did here
It’s funny to imagine that as far as he knows, Vegeta cut down a third of the population of full blooded Saiyans like that like it was no bug deal.
He didnt care as a kid and doesnt care now. He even talks about it in the next arc.
vegeta i can't bee-lieve it ..
Bug Deal 😊

As far as he knows? God you mothermothers can’t help but spoil huh?

1 way to describe the kaioken is that it's an energy multiplier. It can double or triple your energy but there is a limit on how much you can handle.
Or we can just say it's almost the same as the 8 inner gates since she is more familiar with that
@@grimjar2292 yeah but it’s much more different

kinda surprising but not that much to me that Vegeta killed Nappa . he already killed one of the Saibamens . he does not really care about people that are less strong than him .
That's the saiyan race for ya
And he despises people who are stronger than him, as for people at his own level, he pays no mind to
He didn't even care about wishing Raditz back nor his home planet back either.
And just like that, Nappa was never seen again
Nobody liked Nappa at all and everyone wanted him to die. But even for him, that was far too cruel a death.
I'm actually sad that Nappa, Radditz and Launch didn't appear anymore in DBZ after their arcs were over. All three were great characters.

Plz upload 2 episodes a day.
That's not Goku, that's Kakarot!
