I watched your video on preparing tracks for mixing. I just sent off my first track for my EP to Evan Bakke at Power Station New England! Stoked! Thank you for your help🤘
Awesome mate, glad I could help get it sorted for you!
Great tip. I never thought about using the Groove Track on vocals.
Pretty sweet way of speeding up some
Vocal edits!
Cool technique, I had been using Vocalign when working with other people, but for my own stuff I must be a freak because all of my multi-layered harmonies are spot on! Anyway, that sounds like Firewind...singer sounds really similar to Nils K. Rue. They are phenominal!
Woah, that’s a super cool feature!
Indeed!
Yes! I will be soon! Bring it on!
Let’s go!
Great Video Dude
Thanks!
Thanks for the tip
Wow, this is a great tip! Adding to playlist...😎
Thanks!
This was a game-changer. Totally!
Glad it helped!
Awesome fucking video dude. I love it, thank you so much!
Cheers mate! Appreciate that!
great advice 👍
Thanks a lot for this nice tip and video.
No problem!
How to use it in different sources like, source 1: chorus lead , source 2: verse lead
Hey Man, great video. Very helpful! What fader controller do you use? Looks like the behringer. If it is, does it work well with logic? Just want something tactile to record some automation.
Thanks! Behringer x touch in this video - since moved to a raven mti max! Both good options for automation.
Thank you
The groove track is my always "Go to". I'm a logichead like you...People always ask me why I'm still using Logic instead of Pro tools, and my answer is: Logic is so powerful, and first I have to use it at 95% of its capabilities , and then I will change...logichead since 20 years now 😂
Yeah I’ve been using logic since about 2008! No point jumping ships now 😅 plus logic is great 👍🏻
@@spinlightstudios i agree. that's a great tip with the groove track, i'll definitely be using it. been using logic since version 4, when it was still owned by emagic. i think that was around 2000!
Chum for the algo.
(I'm a REAPER user)
Cheers, Rhys.
Thanks 🙏🏼 join the logic band wagon 🤣
@@spinlightstudios Lol !!! It took me long enough to work my way around REAPER. I've got plugins to figure out. What's this compression thing that the kids are always talking about ? Lol !!!
This is what I was doing the other day! I was considering Vocalign since I have some vocals stack I wanted to work on. What I don’t get is my Logic has flextime broken some time ago. I will analyze the audio track a thousand times and flextime and flex pitch just don’t activate 😢 any thoughts?
Ah how frustrating! I’m not sure sorry 😞
No worries, still really good knowledge to have now I just gotta get it working lol.
do you know if there's a plugin or a way that does this but with pitch, for example if you want the pitch of double take vocals to a main take?
Maybe syncro arts have something like this
Saved me 350 bucks 😂😂😂😂 but the pitch and formant shift is dope
Yes the pitch match in vocalign is pretty sick! Whatever saves you time in the end is worth it!
does this not work if you've already used flex pitch on vocal tracks? when i check the tracks i want to align nothing happens.
I’m not sure. Possibly. You might need to bounce in place the Flex Pitch track and then try it.
it doesn't work for me is there any steps your missing out on before hand like asigning groups or a bus channel
I don’t think so, it’s a pretty simple process… has anyone else made a video on it? you could watch and see if they do anything differently
Cant really use vocalign in logic cause they just wont fix ara properly :(
I don’t bother with ARA in logic. Too many chances of it bugging out. But you can still use vocalign without ARA.
@@spinlightstudioshow do you have a example without ARA? Thanks
don't need vocalign...logic pro is amazing!
Pretty sweet!
