I think the two things that can make ranked better is this: - Perfect Dodge can only be done if your stamina is full (you can only get perfect dodges when you first dodge) - Add a timer. Whoever does most health wins, and if a hit hasn’t been landed in a certain amount of time then the match is forfeit and both ranked players keep their current rank.

It’s honestly pretty easy to counter these over-passive counter users by just letting them hit first and then perfect dodging so you can follow up with an attack. They don’t deal much damage while not countering
Or you could use your m1 to bait them. Works for me many times lol I usually tend 2 pressure them and make them think as tho they have the edge on me even tho im on the centre of the ring. I think da best way 2 beat these guys is with ur movement, so pinning them down against the railing and then baiting them with an m1 at just the right distance 2 hit them with another m1 is ideal. If they keep trying to move out tho, dash towards the side they're moving to. They're usually super weak to constant pressure so keep up ur aggressive movement and they'll eventually crumble.

Just a short tip. When you break someones guard and you are low on stam, wait just a small amount of time then hit them with a heavy. You will still get the hit and they wont be able to dodge.
Also, a way to fight these types of guys is simple. Walk up to them and see what they do. If they attack as soon as you walk up, dodge. If they dodge when you walk up, try to see how many times they dodge around you and hit them on their last one. It takes practice but it has saved many of my ranked games.
This is why I argue for perfect dodge to not be a thing when spam dashing or reduce the s when spam dashing a timeer would be useless as the person that did more damage would continue to run away until timer runs out just decrease s or just somehow prevent spam dashing some how
@@Envixist I think it could work if the one who did the most damage won the round, there would also be a limit of 3 rounds of 2 minutes and the game would automatically end if 3 knockouts were reached, but if no one reached 3 knockouts it would be decided by decision of how many rounds the player won, that's my idea

Adding a Timer would have and making it so there’s a penalty for missing a dash, even if it’s a small penalty alternatively they could limit the pb ( 30 cooldown on when you can pb and if missed you get stunned so people actually commit to it )
As a counter main, we do not claim this guy. Counter is supposed to be played by predicting and a little bit of perfect dodging but not waiting for a whole 30 minutes just to get that 5% of health down with 1 m2 counter...
here is a quick tip for ippo: use your side dashes to bait for example, get close to him side dash, that should give you a lot of perfect doges and this mainly works for ippo bc his diagonal dashes
this reminds me of my ranked matches, i just finally got to 21,500 elo today to world champion, never touching ranked again, it's way too stupid, the power of the passive playstyle is insane and time consuming for other people

Give casual matches 3-6 rounds with 3 mins timer and ranked matches 12 rounds with 3 minutes timer. 3 knockdowns in one or two rounds will count as TKO Just like irl amateur and professional boxing
I don’t think timers will solve the problem for players like theses style is to back up in hoping you wiff a shot due to every class having such a large stun time if they miss. Even some slugger players will do this for everyone wants to focus on perfect dodges and waiting for misses for it is also why ghosts are high played for they are severely rewarded for waiting. The biggest thing to do to prevent waiters and runners is to shrink the ring over time and to not punish the aggressive players with a massive stun time for missing a shot.

If they add a timer they should add a scoring system, it’s boxing you can’t force ppl to be aggressive when they have styles that depend on countering nd dodging. Also using health to determine the winner doesn’t make sense different styles do different amounts of damage.

the only way to counter this guy is to get his stamina low so that he doesnt dodge or counter your attacks (im still a novice player at the game dont take advice from me)
Fun fact: i found a way of countering them is by spamming m2 when they're coming to dash forward to you, so they'll get damaged and back away and when they're gonna dash forward to you again then repeat it again by m2
