Tom, when it was told to Paul that he will be arrested, his hands tide, was not so encouraging. But yes, Paul was encouraging the people when he told them that only the ship will have to suffer and not one of them. Before Harry's wedding with Megan (i didn't even knew that will be their wedding, i was not interested ), i had a dream, i didn't understood what's about, in the morning i heard ,,release it", i said ,, God, what to release? What's about?". After 3 days, entering on TH-cam i have seen that was their wedding ,,in primetime" and i understood what was about that dream. I said ,,there will be changes in the royal family", and thank Father Almighty, this was the interpretation. As all know now, they left the royal family and renounced to the titles. It was a possibility that they to stay there and the hard rules ( the etiquette to be much modern) to be changed, but they choose to leave. In the dream, it was a big white house ( i saw then that building in a video of the british royal family) from white stone, and in the middle of it, integrant part of it, a poor house made of wood, the door open,and a young couple standing in the doorpost of that door. In the dream, it was an alee on the left ( left = as meaning - to leave, left) side of that white building, and i was saying seeing that alee that ,,once upon a time" on that alee was circulating chariots with princes and princesses. Therefore, i believe that that dream showed what happened after their wedding. In 2019 in December, i was lead by the Holy Spirit to say ,,this is the silence before the storm". In feb 2020 it appeared ,,covid". When there was the elections in America, the Heavenly Father gave me another dream plus something that i have seen on a balcony and the interpretation that was given to me was that Trump will not win, something not quite fair will happened, Biden will stay 3 month out from the White House but secured and then will enter in it. All prophets were saying that Trump will win, therefore i didn't quite believed that will be what was given to me as informatio- prophesy, though i made a very short video about, and then, about a flash vision about the same subject when i was lead to say that I hope to not be violence and victims in the inauguration day. But there was It's not my merit, it's the Heavenly's Father merit that He chose me to show these things. A night before Ukraine's invasion, i saw outside ( never before) over street = over border / trespassing a window of a house, lightened in a very vivid red, and i was lead to say that seams like fire. Excellent question. It's literal translation is to see spirits. So it means that you I have a gift of the Holy Spirit at a particular time to be able to see both Angels or demons. Everybody who is a Believer has the ability to discern things so this is not discernment but instead it's supernatural ability to see in the spirit just like Elijah did in the Old Testament and how the disciples saw angels in the New Testament
As a child I could see and hear from God the deepest of secrete things but when I grew up its difficult to to clearly again. What should I do to activate my prophetic gift

If you're honestly asking a question on this, let me refer you to the New Testament where Jesus said, "... God is a SPIRIT, and those who worship Him MUST worship Him in SPIRIT and in truth." If we are a soul then how can we worship Him who is spirit? If we're made in "the image of God", then we must be made SPIRIT... theologians realize that certain Old Testament words in Hebrew are difficult to translate, but they do their best... and you're right Genesis says that made was made a living being... it didn't define there spirit or soul... but Jesus clarified it in the NT
God is a spirit..and he created man in his image and likeness (Genesis 1:26) Man is a spirit being living in the body which is the container...true worshippers must worship the father in spirit and in truth..(john 4"23).
Just to clarify...isnt a Prophet also someone who God can impart future events too? For example John in the Book of Revelation & modern Prophets like Kim Clement who accurately foretold future events 2 years before they happened. Do Prophets also warn people ( in a good way) of things to come?
Yeah the Office of the Prophet is different from what I'm speaking about in this video... but John was not a prophet, even though he had visions of upcoming events... no where in scripture is he considered a prophet. But you had a great question :)
You must remember that prophecy is edification exhortation and comfort not judgment. So true Bible prophecy should have the flavor of encouragement. If you start to speak encouraging words to The lost, even your family, then you will see that it will touch their hearts
'Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand...' So was Jesus judgemental or encouraging? I believe there are Prophetic gifts and also the office of the Prophet.
I had a Vision of a tornado that was very big at first site I though it was a mushroom cloud which told me it was very big . This vision was about two weeks ago tonight on the news There was a big tornado that killed 14 people .This is terrible however I am not sure this is the one I seen on the map it was more north west but i could be wrong. This is the first vision I had since I was a kid about 50 years ago. I had a lot of Déjà Vu" when young Which ,I now feel was when I relived a vision and it had come true It gave me a flash back feeling. I did not get that feeling with this tornado. I would also answer the phone before it rang and would say hello and the name of the caller. People told me I was psychic. I never believed in spirits,ghost, or psychics do to dogma and doctrine I was brain washed with. Now my eyes are open and I know that it is a gift from god that the church killed people for having.
Well nobody's responded after a year. Just thought I would add something here... the very most important thing for any person gifted or not is to know and have a personal relationship with God. By that I mean inviting Christ into your life. You don't want to be one of those on that day where Jesus says to those who were very gifted "depart from me, for I never knew you". It's important to stay in his word and fellowship with a local church that you feel the Holy Spirit is leading you to be a part of. There you can be encouraged to grow in your gifts whatever they may be. God bless you greatly!
I don’t believe that prophecy is all about encouragement. There are many accounts in the prophecies of the Bible that the prophet came to tell people to turn away from their sin. Also in intercessory prayer the Holy Ghost comes upon you and you say what the spirit wills and no it’s not always good. Prophecy is not only for encouragement but also for correction and the Holy Ghost will reveal that to you as you exercise your prophetic gift. Jeremiah 1:10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and throw down, To build and to plant. Jeremiah worked in the “office” of a prophet the office of a prophet functions on this level as well.
First off you are quoting the Old Testament while you live in the New Testament. So do you still kill animals and drain their blood to worship God at the temple in Jerusalem? So we don't get our Doctrine in the New Testament from the Old Testament. There are times that prophecy can have the element of Correction but the New Testament teaches us a different type of Prophecy. Have a little bit of honor and hunger and humility as well as a teachable spirit and God will take you far

Can you elaborate more on the discerning of spirits ? Is it to distinguish spirits between good and evil or is it to actually spiritually see things ?

I was saying that it contains the same DNA as prophesy. Prophecy speaks encouragment to people. Simple prophecy has that encouragment within it.
