I really like your color palette, and I’m glad you did the second side with the whit cell activator first and then the copper which made for such beautiful copper veining. You are right when you said it is chaotic which I don’t necessarily care for. I thought that it was incredibly beautiful before you started to modify it, and then when you spun it only one way it made it a little unbalance in the size of your cells from one side of the canvas to the other. Overall though it is a beautiful piece, and the thing that makes each of us individual is our choices in the way we make our art. I definitely think you should try resin on this one. I look forward to seeing what you do next.

Hi Jodi! Love the ocean swipe!!!! I see you have a squeegee on the wall, have you ever done a swipe with it! I want try it but afraid it would swipe all the paint off. Let me know if you have done one or think it would have a positive outcome. I think the length of it would help to have a more uniform swipe instead of all the smaller ones. Hi Susi! Thank you so much! Yes, and I almost used that squeegee recently but got chicken myself 😂😂 .. I think it will work but I just have to keep the pressure a little lighter when I swipe. The other issue with mine is it has a curved handle, it curves down so I don’t know if it will be in the way when I’m trying to swipe but now I have to try it haha!! I’ll report back if it’s offline or do it on video so you can see! 🥰🥰

I have trouble covering canvas pours to an even nice result so not sure im doing it correctly 🤦♀️. Im coming from the tumbler world so pretty new to pours and especially blooming but just took Shelee Art course so gathering all my supplies so i can try!!!!! Your videos are so amazingly helpful. @@trinastrickland6063 Oh that's awesome! You're going to have fun with the blooms! I do have a resin video but they are with smaller ornaments but it might help a little (#40). I don't have one yet with a canvas but I'll put one on the list to do. If it helps, I use the resin calculator that's on the art resin site and plug in my dimensions to give me approximately how much I need to mix up. Once you start doing it regularly on canvases you'll get a feel for how much you need to mix up with out making too little or too much :)

Thank you Ellen! To prevent the canvas from spinning off I on the dry spinner I’ll add a little of the pillow paint to secure the first canvas, after that there should be enough paint for any others you are doing ☺️
Thank you Gina! No the colors just had the pouring medium. With the blooms technique the cell activator is separate and added after laying all the colors with the PM down first, it’s what I swiped with on my tool. The CA mix can be found at the beginning of the video and also in the description box ☺️💜

Thank you 🤗 you want to take enough paint off so it dries well, that’s what I’m always looking for. My mistake here was starting with too much paint that had to be taken off. It’s a learning process (especially for me as I always liked to add too much paint lol) but still came out super cool 😎🤗💜
You can but you’ll need extra ingredients in order to get similar results as the Australian. There’s something in the Australian that isn’t in the US floetrol to create the cells you see. I have a mixing video of the US cell activator I use, it’s #16. ☺️

The ones with the vom are spam. Do not click them. I usually block those and block the individual as well. I used to get them but not anymore after I blocked.. hope that helps
K sorry, one more question, why do you say you have to get rid of some of the paint? When you say you can’t keep it, why not? Won’t it just dry thick? Aside from taking a month to dry😂
No worries, ask away! Yea I wish it were that easy to keep the composition but unfortunately too much paint on the canvas will cause it to crack and ruin the piece. Enough paint needs to be taken off to prevent that 😊
The CA mix I use, sorry CA is short for Cell Activator, it’s listed at the beginning of each video as well as down below in each description box. I’m using a mix of Australian floetrol and paint (4:1 ratio). I’m working on a new recipe using the US floetrol & paint only but video #16 may help you for now too with the US floetrol. The blooms technique utilizes this cell activator to get the cells 😃☺️💜
@@ThePaintedDreamer ii have floetrol but not the australian one...do all floetrols typically do the same thing when it comes to cells? I will normally put a few drops treadmill lubricant in whatever acrylic paint I want to show cells😊
The Australian one is a bit different and produces cells super easy. I’ve gotten the US floetrol to work as well albeit it’s a little different. I have a video coming out tomorrow talking more about it. When Shelee Carruthers created this technique she wanted to do away with silicone by utilizing the floetrol so that was originally the point of the blooms technique but you can totally use silicone if you want to ☺️

I have trouble covering canvas pours to an even nice result so not sure im doing it correctly 🤦♀️. Im coming from the tumbler world so pretty new to pours and especially blooming but just took Shelee Art course so gathering all my supplies so i can try!!!!! Your videos are so amazingly helpful. @@trinastrickland6063 Oh that's awesome! You're going to have fun with the blooms! I do have a resin video but they are with smaller ornaments but it might help a little (#40). I don't have one yet with a canvas but I'll put one on the list to do. If it helps, I use the resin calculator that's on the art resin site and plug in my dimensions to give me approximately how much I need to mix up. Once you start doing it regularly on canvases you'll get a feel for how much you need to mix up with out making too little or too much :)

Thank you Ellen! To prevent the canvas from spinning off I on the dry spinner I’ll add a little of the pillow paint to secure the first canvas, after that there should be enough paint for any others you are doing ☺️

Thank you Gina! No the colors just had the pouring medium. With the blooms technique the cell activator is separate and added after laying all the colors with the PM down first, it’s what I swiped with on my tool. The CA mix can be found at the beginning of the video and also in the description box ☺️💜

Loved it more before it was spun a lot. But pretty still. Not easy to know when to stop spinning.
Thank you 🤗 you want to take enough paint off so it dries well, that’s what I’m always looking for. My mistake here was starting with too much paint that had to be taken off. It’s a learning process (especially for me as I always liked to add too much paint lol) but still came out super cool 😎🤗💜

Can you use American Floetrol instead of Australian?
You can but you’ll need extra ingredients in order to get similar results as the Australian. There’s something in the Australian that isn’t in the US floetrol to create the cells you see. I have a mixing video of the US cell activator I use, it’s #16. ☺️

The ones with the vom are spam. Do not click them. I usually block those and block the individual as well. I used to get them but not anymore after I blocked.. hope that helps

K sorry, one more question, why do you say you have to get rid of some of the paint? When you say you can’t keep it, why not? Won’t it just dry thick? Aside from taking a month to dry😂
No worries, ask away! Yea I wish it were that easy to keep the composition but unfortunately too much paint on the canvas will cause it to crack and ruin the piece. Enough paint needs to be taken off to prevent that 😊
What is creating the cells? Is it the varnish? I can’t figure it out and I can’t find it in any of your videos
The CA mix I use, sorry CA is short for Cell Activator, it’s listed at the beginning of each video as well as down below in each description box. I’m using a mix of Australian floetrol and paint (4:1 ratio). I’m working on a new recipe using the US floetrol & paint only but video #16 may help you for now too with the US floetrol. The blooms technique utilizes this cell activator to get the cells 😃☺️💜
@@ThePaintedDreamer ii have floetrol but not the australian one...do all floetrols typically do the same thing when it comes to cells? I will normally put a few drops treadmill lubricant in whatever acrylic paint I want to show cells😊
The Australian one is a bit different and produces cells super easy. I’ve gotten the US floetrol to work as well albeit it’s a little different. I have a video coming out tomorrow talking more about it. When Shelee Carruthers created this technique she wanted to do away with silicone by utilizing the floetrol so that was originally the point of the blooms technique but you can totally use silicone if you want to ☺️
