I will never understand how someone can dump a loving animal. My dog has dry eye(she makes absolutely no moisture). I have taken care of it for 3 years, and will continue forever because I love her.
It is just terrible the things we see... I will soon post another video showing how cruel people can be. It's a nightmare, and this is why the people who support us are so amazing! We really couldn't have saved all these animals without the ability to pay for all these vet bills.
When my beloved Siamese developed hyperthyroidism she needed medication in the morning and evening. I had to travel a couple times and leave her in the trust and care of boarding. The second time, it was only three nights. But when I picked her up she had lost 25% of her body weight. I thought she was dying. I swore I'd never leave her in another's care for the rest of her life. I didn't travel for the next four years, not even to spend the night anywhere. I wouldn't change a thing. I would love her forever. She passed in 2022 and I still miss her. We had seventeen wonderful years together.
Oh good I am so glad she does not have "no eyes," just infected eyes! Foxtails are the worst. Thank you for rescuing this sweet girl, saving her life, and finding her a loving foster home with siblings! I hope she gets adopted soon. 💝
I know, right? I took that literally too, especially with NO EYES being capitalized and everything! Eldad isn't normally that click-baity, so I wasn't expecting the exaggeration. I also wish he would've clarified whether or not the thorn and infection were her whole vision problem, and whether or not she now can see fine. If NO EYES wasn't literal, then you'd think you it would at least suggest actual blindness, but I'm thinking this was temporary blindness and she's better now. I'm surprised I didn't see other people in the comments with this question. Or maybe I just glanced away and missed that notation...?
Another thing.... I'm not so sure she was actually abandoned either. With that heavy broken chain around her neck, I'm thinking she was probably kept chained outside, and she managed to break a weak link and escape her situation, and then got the foxtail after she was loose. I'm also thinking it was probably a puppymill she escaped from... she appears to be a purebred and a good example of her breed, and looked well-fed and otherwise healthy. I'd be curious to know if she was unspayed.

This is an update on sweet Dahlia from Eldad 🥰: "Three days ago, she was spayed and had an additional surgical procedure (gastropexy). She recovered beautifully, and last night, she moved to her loving forever home-just six minutes away from where her foster home used to be. Her foster mom is so happy she will always get to see Dahlia in the neighborhood, and Dahlia will be so happy to see her furry friends again."
She looked so relieved after the chain was removed from her neck. Thank you to all the kind people who got her off the streets and gave her the dignity and life she deserves.

Honestly I’ve found that most mastiffs are all bark and no bite. They are skittish and try to seem scary but usually do not try to defend themselves. More likely if you force yourself on them, a mastiff will just shut down and tremble.
I’ve read most of the comments and agree with most of them. What a lovely girl. So appreciate the rescuer bud the guys that stopped to help him get her in the cage. ❤❤❤
I'm always amazed at the love you have for the lost, abandoned, and neglected animals that have no choices or chances. You provide homes, loving families, a future(!) to animals that had nothing but hopelessness and a possible bad ending to their lives.
All sentient beings recognize loving kindness. Those guys who helped you were awesome. The one had no fear in going up to her. That was amazing. I'm so glad it worked out for this big, beautiful girl. She's so sweet.

Because many people are shallow and don't think animals have feelings ,emotions intelligence.i have 3 work colleagues who think that way.
