- On my two previous cruises with HAL I've had Signature Suites on deck 6 and have loved them. When booking this cruise I saw that they were offering a "Guaranteed" Suite for $2700 instead of the $3900 for the "choose your own" suite so I took it, thinking there could be no bad locations for this type of stateroom. Boy was I wrong. The suites on this floor are very noisy, especially the ones under the buffet. Watch to the end to see my expectations and then actual experience with this room.
In a few months I will be be on this Oosterdam ship for 2 months. To prepare I have been looking at other people's cabin tour to see what configuration of electrical plugs there is,, whether it be North American or European and is there any USB plugs. After watching about 8 other cabin tours on TH-cam, PSP Bill, Thank You because your video is the first video that talked about and showed what plug in's there is. Kudo's to you and your videography and knowledge of what to talk about. Thank You.

Hi guys! We booked our 3 week cruise starting in Rome July "24. We booked a Signature Suite 8070..... If we can't change the suite we'll bring earplugs! Thanks for the heads up!!
Noordam cabin 1062 also not accepted. Dancing steps noise till midnight.
just got off this boat..Dining room service was the worst ever. Literally took hours which is fine but we attempted to go early a few times to get the show in. Forget it..........worst service ever. Food was downgraded big time except in the two restaurants you paid for. Also on dressy nights it was the best. Entertainment was ok..but all dance shows were repeated from 2018. Like why??????????? Loved our room but loaded with issues from toilet issues to tv issues. Also thudding sounds starting at 5am which woke me up over and over. Sheet quality was the best of any cruise. Worst ever was the Cunard. Guest Services is a total joke these days. May have to take Celebrity next time............
