Stumbled over this initial clip late Saturday and got totally hooked. Watched all 16 (so far) episodes late into the night. Idea is genial, simple, fun, and most important (part from creating memories for your already sea savvy son) places a smile on everyone watching this. I live in the US (but of Scandinavian origin) and had never heard of you. Poked around a bit, and truly like your material. Skilled and always happy seafarer! Compared to many other channels (often with far less 'unique' content), your views are still lacking a bit and I was sad to see them still only in the thousands. I truly hope people do find you (I'll do my little to help cross posting and highlighting) and start to realize that a trip 'down south' can be done w/o too much complicated or expensive equipment. It's all about some 'common sense' and and upbeat attitude! The Terhi (I remember them, as well as the 'Ryds Camping' from the 70s) sure makes a statement on a trip like yours, but for 'true' economy, an old diesel double-ender (snecke/snipa) would truly be the perfect boat for that type of an adventure. Although not as fun/crazy 🙂 That said, you have given me more than one idea along those lines... Music is fun and upbeat, but the music credit might not be entirely accurate; seems to be 'A la Orilla del Mar' by Tanel Sra (th-cam.com/video/6AtSaNawY9g/w-d-xo.html). Confirmed by Shazam/Siri as well.

Super flot du lægger det og du har nu fået mig til at gøre til en tur til Middelhavet. Du har inspireret mig så meget at jeg gør det i en 22 fod motorbåd med en dybde på o, 45 plus drev. Så tænker 90 under vandligne. Super fedt du har gjort det og filmede turen..👍😜
Hej skipper. Må jeg spørger hvad det render op i samlet, udover anskaffelse. Altså slusepenge, brændstof osv? Fedt projekt. Har selv samme motor monteret på en shetland, så det kú da være… 😅
Jeg bor i Sverige, på den svenske øresundskyst. Jeg har mulighed for at flage den ind i både Sverige og Danmark, og der er forsikringsmæssige fordele ved at sejle med svensk flag.

You totally missed the point, Ed. This is a fun little project and semantics might not have a place here. But remember what we call the ones crossing the oceans on large freighters? They are 'sailors' even though there is not a sail to be seen.
