I think they added showing items because some items were super powerful in RoC., Like infernal stones and doomguards. I remember Hazeem tower cheesing super powerful creep then walking into his opponents base with a doomguard and infernal.... As an Orc Player, when the opponent was still lvl 3!
I think he got distracted by the line of thinking of "If I kill his hero and casters I win". Which is technically true, but that many gryphs he should have just pushed the base instead. Grubby wouldn't win in a base race so he'd be forced to defend, else risk losing by building elimination.
Wow good match. I’d love to see triple AOE Hero. For example ( order of easiest to hardest) AM (blizzard aoe) + PL (fire aoe) + Alchemist (heal aoe). Then replace AM with quick 6 FS (Earthquake), Warden (Knives), and lastly quick 6 Lich..
He is. Pitlord is one of the best Heroes in the game, from a design standpoint, as he can go for a siege build, a frontline debuffer build, or debuff + AoE control build. Even his Ultimate is great without being overpowered.
I'd say the ulti is ok, balanced. It's nice to get that doomguard, but if the opponent is smart he pulls the unit away, or warpes to his base and kills it there, gets a lot of exp. But I totally concur with the rest.
@@theredestbull That is why I say it is balanced, it requires you play with it, and target the unit down for a nice Doomguard reward; contrary to most other Ultimates, which are just 1 button pushes for stupid silly damage.

It would be op if it didn't take dispel damage. It's got more health than an Infernal but has less armour and does less damage, and it's air attack has a significant AoE. It is immune to some spells, and is a pretty powerful caster in it's own right. All of which is irrelevant if the other side has a few summon dispel casters in their army.
No, a unit that gets hit with Doom is, unsurprisingly, doomed. You can't dispel it, it doesn't run out of time, and does more dps than can be healed for any length of time (KotG Tranquility heals as fast as Doom damages, but Doom keeps going after Tranquility ends). Also disables any abilities on the unit.
I want to see a pit lord with cleave, alchemist with acid and rage, and panda with critical(or lich with frost armor) for 3 hero RPG style with unholy frenzy and orb. Before you staff to your shade, you frost armour up and unholy frenzy up. They will be a one man army.. Maybe lich with frost armor would make it easier to survive, and/or lich with orb since he's range might also be better than 3 melee heroes. Get staff on 3 heroes, get shades, and TP to shades and just out multitask him. This is my personal 3 hero RPG strat with UD, but I go DK/lich/pit lord. Healing and frost armor is really nice.. But rage and acid bomb would also be killer. And you cannot put orb on pit lord if you use cleave, it will cancel out the cleave unfortunately. Unless theyve fixed that in some patch that I missed.. Someone with money recommend this to grubby! Even without getting paid, If I was grubby and saw this I would wanna play this strat anyway. Tell me it doesn't sound fun. What's more fun than 3 hero RPG style? As for units to go with those heroes, just go 100 food garg mad frog style and use them to make another front to attack. You can basically have 3-4 front attack with this style. Like garg on one front, pit lord and DK on another, and lich on another since you will need coil for pit lord, while lich with skellies and nova can kill peon line by himself. Or if you go panda instead of dk, then nova and bof is obviously a good combo. Don't forget to have a rod on every hero to maximise each heroes dmg potential.

And when I saw the game and you saying it's not even fun, he's just picking them off at will I was like gg. But yeah. I was susprised by how much of a fucking tank high level pit lord is. Not only a tank, but has pretty high dmg but slow attack rate. With bloodlust he's a dps machine, imagine if HU had breakers or something all clumped up. But then you wouldn't be blood lusted, but still. Just keep casting it since all his have is shaman anyway lol. Should have gotten a few t3 HHs after lust and/or Tc. You needed stun. I don't think that would alter the strat too much since you had lvl 6 pit lord already by then. Rather have stun than howl

PL's a killing machine with good control. I've tried him and Alch with acid+howl, grutns, shams and kodos. Remarkably rewarding slaughter

pitlord is probably one of the worst heros in the game i promise you lol, he just makes him look good.

Play on battle net. Community is fair but if you aren't good, teammates will be upset. Try 1v1 first
