Just purchased this knife, it was too good to pass up especially in Magnacut and was on sale (through a well known on line site). It is a very well made and balanced pocket fixed blade.
i bought one of these when they first came out. the design reminds me of the old SERE knife and Chute knife (which i favor very much) but in a more modern and more concealable way. to me the knife has that utilitarian feel and can act as a defense knife. love the tip of the knife. I also opted to buy the kydex sheath.
@@slavabrowning7926 I got mine about 4 days ago and it’s pretty sweet. That red fat carbon looks NICE. Looking forward to getting the Kyle’s sheath for it cuz the leather one isn’t gonna work for me. Size is perfect for an edc fixie
Just a note that I received the Kydex sheath today from KnifeCenter and while it's made of a very decent Kydex I found that the fit was a little sloppy and might need some heat treatment to tighten it up a bit and the thumb push off at the top is way too big but let me know what you think when you get yours...
I have the G10 along with the MKM Kydex sheath. The leather sheath was well made, and might be good after some breakin. In the old days, with leather holsters for handguns, I would put my unloaded handgun in a thin dress sock and firmly holster it for a few days. This provided just enough breakin to allow easy access while maintaining a secure hold in the leather holster. With a knife, you would need to sacrifice a sock. BTW, the angle on the edge is very steep. It may be 30 or 31 degrees. On my KME Sharpener, I had to max out the angle and clamp to match the steep edge. When I get the inspiration, I may drop the edge angle. I hope to see a TH-camr do it first...
I like magnacut i got a Viper Basic in Magnacut with a CF handle and a Viper Berus in M390 and the Magnacut is extremely Bitey and the M390 cuts super smoothly with minimal bite pretty much effortlessly cuts the magnacut requires purposefully cutting over is stayed though jesus does it cut
Its the opposite for me hehe. A friend of mine custom made me a SERE knife which is more or less as big as an ESEE 6. I asked him if he could make me a smaller one, but he was too busy fulfilling his custom orders, then this one came out. So i grabbed the MKM. I love both sizes
how's the kidex for the tpf...?? I have the red matter with black coat, I was going to buy the kidex but I want to get it with a discount and it was regular price... the intro price for this knife is heart warming compared to microtech magnacut at over $200.. microtech think US money is chinese money LOL. I got a better deal on the Fara when it was introduced.. m390 at $50 I bought three of the knife and an orange slip.. I use a sterling silver chain for neck wear and my other one has a leather lanyard LOL GOD BLESS. check my channel out 🤙
@@OGBladeReviews cool then, how do you like the leather sheath..?? I put the cardboard for the blade that came in the box in the sheath so the leather in the inside the sheath stays prestine for a while
Again you are hitting my love for small pocketable fixed blades. This is practical and handy for our daily tasks
Glad I could bring it to your attention! 👊🗡️👍

Agreed! Glad you like it! 🗡️👊🗡️
Been trying to find the black one with fat carbon red handles. I really like that one 2!! Thank you for the video.
Thanks for watching! 🗡️👊🗡️

Yes, reminiscent of the old Al Mar Sere. I hope the Kydex sheath works out for you. Mine was a bit loose and requires some reforming with a heat gun.
@@OGBladeReviews the kydex fits just fine. Im glad it didnt arrive loose.
Great! Mine must have been a deviant... LoL 😂🗡️👍
Seems like a great edc fixed blade! Great video 👍
Thanks 👍
Man I’ve been eyeing this blade for weeks in the red fat carbon/black stonewash. Don’t make me do this 😂😂😂😂
Update YOLO I bought it 😂😂😅
@@steven-un4iwdid you get it from bladehq? Saw it on sale and just bought one
Literally just bought the red fat carbon one lol

Good to know. Many thanks 👍
Absolutely love that Tanto, just wish it was made by any other manufacturer other than civivi or we.
When i saw this I immediately thought of the old camillus cuda cqb1 fixed blade. Unmistakably Terzuola.
Lion steel is the actual company that produced this knife stick is awesome because they do a awesome heat treat
I just received mine today. I still wish it was maybe 10 to 15% bigger Do you think they will do a slightly bigger version
This one is successful I'm betting that they'll make an XL version.. 👍😁🗡️
i hope they do, i think this is a scaled down but modernized version of the old sere knife.
Sometimes you find fox knives under the mkm label
Interesting mix.... 👍
yes sir
Mini Cuda reborn I hope they make full-size in Magnacut.

I wish this came in an XL version with a kydex sheathe. I'd EDC that
The size is surprisingly good! Yes, id prefer Kydex, as well....

Good looking bitey blade
I got one❤❤❤❤❤
Congrats! 🗡️🔥👊
Maybe TPF means Terzuola Personal Fighter.
👍
TPF stands for terzeola pocket fixedblade
Thanks 👍

I have no experience with the Kydex for this knife as I only have the leather which it came with....

It's a bit large, so that's a good idea!
