Nice comfort facilities are a girl thing. I will not allow my husband to stop anywhere that doesn't have running water and flushable toilets. The last time I allowed a breach of the rules was near The Grand Canyon in Arizona USA. The facilities were primitive but had this gosh awful wind coming from beneath. All the ladies were freaking out as we did not expect such a function. Now it's running water all the way or I don't get out of the car. James, you are blessed with a wife that will follow you to the middle of nowhere and not complain.
James, the only thing missing is talking to locals. An insight into what locals do for food favorites , special events, favorite hangouts. Maybe when you get home you can add one of your favorite places to go for drinks, shopping, music. I would love to know more of locals where you go. Thanks for another fun video. Great editing.

I was seconded to the NPB in 1995 as I was hand-raising a 2-week old baby White Rhino for the Game Capture unit in the Wilderness area in the Umfolozi Game Reserve. At the time I was living and working at a wildlife rehabilitation centre called CROW. They made me an honorary NPB Game Warden and as a thank you for successfully raising their valuable and endangered calf for 18 months until he was weaned, allowed me to spend a week up there at the Game Capture unit, darting both Black and White rhinos, (among other large game) to be held in a massive boma until the auction.
It was a magical experience, living in caravans under a massive Ficus tree. During the day, we flew around in a tiny bubble of a helicopter, darting rhinos from the air with M99. I'll tell you a bit more about being on the ground too, in stripped down landys, racing to box up the sleeping animals before administering the antidote. I also spent some time running 2 luxury bush camps in the heart of the Okavango Delta, only accessible by small aircraft. I kept a daily diary while I was there and it's currently being read by me on TH-cam

In Oklahoma USA luxury camping (camping w/lots of things to keep comfortable) is called "glamping." i.e. glamorous camping. I can't wait to see future videos. James' mock barf was hilarious (6:33). I think the way James looks at her with so much love is so special. I wish nothing but the best for these 2. LOL

Suzuki Jimny is an upgrade, regardless of what vehicle you had before. Fantastic piece of machinery. Yes the packing space is only slightly larger than a tin of assorted shortbread biscuits but that is a good thing. It means you can fit a tin of assorted shortbread biscuits inside it and forces one to assess the indispensability of all one's other cargo. Wonderful choice!

Just so much fun and the delicious feeling that I've been invited along to share the experience. Having camped and filmed in East Africa, the scene that really talked to me was peeking out of the tent into the rainy night with the neighbouring tent lights glowing beside the silhouette of that amazing tree. Thanks for sharing the joy you two!

You two had me cracking up. Kirsty, you go girl! You got 4 wheeling down pat now. When can we expect you driving Rusty or Wendy on drives? I love that outhouse! My great grandparents had one in a cow pasture. It didn't have a door. Grandpa rigged up a little flag you raised when you went in. That way others knew someone was in there before they walked out to it. Of course the cows didn't pay no mind to it. LOL Looking forward to more videos and fun.

Hi James. We have a Jimny too. It is a wonderful little car. We found it much better for game viewing than a large car. Especially good in sand in the Kalahari. I am sure you will get much joy from it.
