How many hours can this timelapse camera record? Is it possible to record without batteries on the cable? Can it be removed? It is a model of DCM LX100? It looks different somehow.
You can keep the time lapse going for hours or even days on end, depends on the capacity of the SD card and more importantly, the power source. If you use a DC coupler then you need not worry about power running out. I've demonstrated with the Panasonic GX80 on this video but the process is exactly the same on the LX100.
@@eguitarstar Lumix LX100 II It is powered by USB and the battery must be inserted while recording and all the time will be charging. Is it good for the battery?
@@Gawron.. you can still use a DC coupler with the LX100 II. Also, I doubt having the USB plugged in will adversely impact the camera. Maybe best to email Panasonic support as a precaution. I'd suggest if you leave the camera unattended you use a genuine Panasonic battery and not a third party one.
@@eguitarstar Do you have this camera? Have you tested it? He is different in the movie. I'm interested in timelapse recording for hours every day at home. Can the camera take it? I am also considering a special timelapse camera or a Gopro sports camera. The LX100 II is an expensive solution, but it can be useful for other purposes and the quality is better. But how is it supposed to break ...

No, time lapse is not limited, as it is taking still images for the time lapse and then creates a video from these still ages.
