The pink and green work really well over the metallic. They’re otherwise pretty difficult colors to work with imo. I’ll have to remember to use them over metallics in the future.
You have some amazing skills sir. You have some amazing control over that brush. Love seeing how different speed paints show up over a metallic prime. (I have been messing around with Fairy Dust mixed with speed paints myself recently to get a similar effect)
@@wargamesdelivered I have the G222 (not sure what the difference is). I have the 0.2mm, 0.3mm and 0.5mm needles. I use the 0.5mm while I learn and was wonder if/when I should start using the other needles.
I don't understand why you use a lower PSI on the base coat? I bought some Air paints from Wargames Delivered that I haven't tried yet. I bought them to base-coat my British troops.
Great way to add color to metallics in an interesting and speedy way. Will definitely add this one to the toolbox for quick game-night additions!
Using metallics as a base looks like a good idea. Nice work.
Thanks for watching!
I'm excited for the next part of this because this is something I really want to try with some various D&D models!
Really liking the new skills im gaining from this. Never thought of doing this with metallics and then speedpainting over them
Glad to help out! 😄
Another great video! The shine on the wall is crazy!
Thank you! Cheers!
Cool Vision.
Yay more videos to study and watch
I'm going to need to give this a try.
Excellent choice of paints for this, the model is kind of adorable as well lol
Thank you very much!
Very informative, as always. That Vision dude looks sweet!
Thanks!
I never used an airbrush before but this should help with my metallic painting my miniatures.
Good info for Iron Man and others when I get around to painting Marvel Zombicide

I agree, some speedpaints work a bit differently over a different basecoat.
Nice, I’ve not played around with metallic as a base coat. Looking really good.
Thank you! Cheers!
Cool video. I like the effects you get with airbrush & paintbrush!
Glad you like them!
This might inspire me to use my airbrush. I actually have three airbrushes that just sit but this gives me some ideas, for sure.
Looks great! Thanks for sharing your skills with us.
My pleasure!
Let's go bro!!!
Amazing. I need to try this out for my Star Wars legion droids
Go for it!
Very nice effect! Thanks for this tutorial.
You're welcome!
now i want to try speedpaints over metallics
It really does produce an awesome effect!
This looks so awesome. I used magic blue over silver for a sentinels hand on Rogues base, and it turned out looking really sweet
That's a great idea! Rogue is one of my favorite X-Men!
Wish I had an airbrush. Looks great!
They really help quite a bit, thanks for watching!

Thank you so much 😀
Turned out great!! I just recently tried this technique and it turned out great to me.
Glad it worked for you as well!
Just got an airbrush for Christmas (what do u mean its March already) and appreciate tutorials like this.
I never thought to use metallics like that!!!
It's like finding a whole new aspect of the hobby!
Great job, as always. At the 3 minute mark I realized that this would have been an incredibly short video if you were painting Silver Surfer. Lol.
I love the Silver Surfer, I wish I had that mini!
Thanks for the video and the giveaway
I have heard these paints shoot well.
I'm trying to paint the regent from Battletech and want to see how this will work when the speedpaint 2.0 comes out
I'm so excited for the new speedpaints, can't wait to cover them on the channel!
How can I prime with Rattle Cans like this?
Hoping to show this off in the future!
What size needle are you using?
I have not yet used speedpaints over metallics. I will watch for opportunities to try this technic.
I primarily use a Master Airbrush Model G22.

Sorry if this has been asked/mentioned before, but, are you wearing a mask when using an airbrush?
Absolutely am, thank you for asking!

Typically in my experience a higher PSI tends to cause more 'spiderwebbing' or splotchy spraying, thank you for asking!
