Does the software allow for the lens covers to be disabled? I understand the need to show privacy but find them somewhat of an eyesore. Also being motor controlled their would be a limit to how many times it's rated for if you're having meetings constantly
That combo is the holy grail, right? Most solutions like this android-based bar require you to reset the system to sign into the other app - most vendors do not provide a way to seamlessly swap between both apps while staying signed in to each. However, both Teams and Zoom have “Direct Guest Join”, meaning if you have a ‘Teams Room’, you can still invite it to a Zoom meeting, and vice versa. That way, you don’t have to swap between both a fully native Teams Rooms, and a fully native Zoom Rooms.
why does the meeting bar A30 constantly chime throughout the day. its the same sound as when bar first powers up. how do i stop that from happening? Has anyone else experienced this before?
Most devices require a factory reset, or at least a complete sign out of the one app before signing into the other. I don’t recall the operating mode on this one, though…
Hello Ricardo! Honestly, hard to compare the quality side-by-side, but the in-room video of each looked fantastic. Can't say that one out-shined the other - to me - from a video quality standpoint. It's all about the features and capabilities. And no, didn't notice any lip-sync issues.
Ive recently upgraded the firmware for both the CTP 18 and A30. The video quality on the A30 is terrible when I join a call. Its really pixelated. Ive changed the camera quality option to High Definition, but it is still terrible. I connected with different employees and they all gave the same feedback:looks grainy and choppy. Do you know of any fix for this?
Unfortunately, I do not. I don't currently have the unit set up to test myself, but I would recommend reaching out to Yealink directly for support - they have a very responsive support team.
Awesome videos - super informative. However, you might want to check your audio recording settings. There's some heavy static/aliasing that's happening at certain times and it's really grating to listen to with headphones!

Not natively, no. Microsoft Teams Rooms are not meant to function in that way.

Can it join zoom and any other 3rd party platform?
When running Teams Rooms, it can join Cisco Webex and Zoom meetings, but no other 3rd-party platforms natively.

Do you have both devices plugged in to the same LAN ? They should be able to see each other for pairing if they are on the same network.
