Momma and I took the Engwe Engine Pro and the Ridstar Q20 Pro to the Farrington woods Mountain bike trails and the Maybrook Rail Trail today. She did crash and srop the bike but she's definitely learning and getting better! I finally caught a fish. Was a fun scenic ride on the public trails in Danbury, CT and Brewster, NY
*NOTICE* Front battery is not working on the Q20 Pro? The Front battery powers the front hub only, rear battery powers the rear hub and the electronics to power unit on. So if you just use rear hub until battery is showing empty, you can swap batteries or use just select front hub to double your range.

Oh Mr Cheezy your poor wife I laughed so hard when she drove in to the bushes. She has a good sense of humor though at least she tried. It was nice you changed to the paved path like when you took a bike ride with Jethro and Chris. ( lol why didn’t you take them on the Mountain trail path). I am laughing because my husband would have done the same thing to me so I am pleased you let your wife get used to the bike first. My hubby was giving me the stink eye watching this episode because I was yelling at the TV take the poor woman to the paved path. Your wife is a good sport!

That was a dragonfly that fell in the water. I saved one yesterday, when I was kayak fishing. Mrs. Cheez did very well, that was a technical trail.

The kids from Mill Ridge (where I’m from hood)built all those woods with their dirt bikes and like 10 to 15 years ago the city bought the property in and started doing patrols. There’s a cool spot up the hill by the Farrington Pond on the other side from the road(The gone but not forgotten Jesus tree,pond). It’s called Devils den some maps have it, but I know the trail goes right to it and stops it’s a Canyon in the middle of the woods.

Soon as I get the fat tad running again, Dodge (a giant cat) likes walks in a harness so he's gonna love the box (need to build custom, he's like 22 lbs basically a toddler with claws). I crash way too often on the scooter but now I'm pretty careful with the GTA camera mount...still...three wheels is preferable for me.

Nice to be able to buy off the shelf, it would save a LOT of cash and more importantly what time anyone has. Thanks for another tour of your cool trails, I was going to try to do a powerline trail here today. Front wheel drive is vastly underestimated when in loose and/or rough terrain - I would like an option to turn off the rear wheel and run the front only, for sure. Then it just goes where you point it without the butt kicking lol
Nice, gizmo didn't like it, but I'll try again. Using just the front hub on these bikes get squirrely for sure
@@MotoCheez on the scooter I can step on it. The fat tad is the least expensive full suspension tadpole you can get - mid drive or hub upgrade, people do both. I got a lawn chair on wheels that almost fits up/down single track with dual cupholders and half length ape hangers, it's the dumbest and funnest thing ever - I love it, grants me access to my Oregon outdoors again; when people have challenge, get them access - when they are not challenged, they'll ask for more performance or a more advanced ride altogether.
I got mine for 1800 USD on sale, fully assembled. I put the cheapest mid drive possible on it and it just worked lol it's a great combo for people on a budget. Even with just the single chainring I still have 5 gears in the rear cassette, so I can go top speed or lots of torque (hub drives can have reverse, though).
Just poke around trike shops (not Utah Trikes, but regular bike shops that happen to have some bent tads); as long as it has rear suspension it should be fine, though. I have a hardtail one too and it is FAST but man you feel every bump. Everyone needs to get out, if we sit too long our bodies decide we don't need to be young anymore; if we lose a few skin cells, we get some new ones - if I get a scrape, I get some fresh blood - win/win.
