Ok, I finally got this done...properly. Used Omnioculous Hunter with the Scythe finisher. I actually did this in my first 20 runs, but died by boomers after knocking Crota off - loot dropped including an Adept machine gun but his sword didn't spawn so I couldn't buy any adept weapons. Anyhow, I reckon I did around another 60 runs or so before doing this again. Thank God the sword spawned this time so I could spend all my spoils. The tip I can give is to ensure the knights are around 1 metre from the back wall so you get better finisher chances with Crota in front of them. Good luck all.
tried this 50 times, got him off around 4. Doing the exact same strat, one time he went right off the middle & went down off the map, but teleported back. It is sheer luck wether or not you get it
I would not necessarily call it RNG but definitely has a bit of luck/technique involved for execution. For this video, it took about 13 deaths to execute on my Hunter but I can now do it a little more consistently. Just requires a knight to be in the perfect place between Crota's legs to phase through him while also being close to the edge so he doesn't touch the rocks, otherwise he will teleport.
Man every video I watch makes this shit look so easy yet I been trying for 3 days and couldn’t get crota over the edge even once. I get him to hop about 2-3ft off the ground and that’s it. Get maybe 1-2 finishers off before him and whatever knights are left turn and all sword me while I’m invis and insta kill me. Tried every tip/trick from countless vids this shit is absolutely impossible all based on luck some people can get it in a few tries and others like myself it just never works
You made this look so easy! I have yeeted the crotes 7 times and all those attempts look like they were pure luck lol.. Video references to this on my profile
Chair finisher should work fine! I have seen some people use it. You need a finisher that knocks enemies away but also phases you through Crota too. So if you look at when I did it for example, I knock the knight away but I’m phasing through Crota at the same time and that’s what causes you to yeet Crota far off the map

@@shrek_yourself technically this is a bug or a missed way to kill the boss cuz if Bungie smart they would have made it so Crota would to back to the arena and not just die
No, just the same rewards as if you were running in a group. More so for anyone who wants a solo lowman run as this method is the only possible way to solo Crota

It only teleports down if he touched the rock on the way down there, if he doesn't is a secured kill
you really have to hope crota launches into the right place

Tried it for like 40 runs but cant seem to make it work... best i could do is like 2 steps back which isnt a yeet
You got this! It requires Crota and knights to play ball. Best way is to line up a knight between Crota’s legs so you can phase right through him

Using Graviton Forfeit - increases duration of invis and while in invis, my melee recharges faster
