3 works of art. The bike, the video and skilled hands. A pleasure to watch.

It all comes together. We can stand back and see your vision. You find these pieces of nuts, bolts, wires, gears, cables, motorcycle cases needing "Novenas" from the intercession of a Saint, and Scripture that reads, "don't put your faith in Worldly things, a moth could eat it and the Rust can take it away"... Yet you persevere... It all goes into like a big pot on the stove... Your special recipe brewing. Hours turn into days. Days turn into months. Measuring, tinkering, a vast knowledge from scripture...Notes from experiences learned and documented in a special place. Stirring it. A little this. A little that. Fresh new paint, chrome, polish and a sprinkle of Holy Water. Man, it's done, and we get to taste it. . Thank You so much for sharing your hard work. I watch your work over and over. 6/23/22.

Being born in 51 and a life long motorcycle lover have rode many but the Commando is up there with my favourite bikes, goes around tight corners like a trail bike but with lots of grunt, they have a exhaust sound like music and also look good..

The Guggenheim should be so lucky as to have one of these.
Your shop techniques show some really nice little details.

I made the wrong assumption that the electric starter was an after market item, but after tossing it around in my old fuzzy brain I recall that about the time the 850 came out an electric starter was made available. This gentleman is a perfectionist!

The 1975 Commando Mk 3 was produced with electric start and the gear change was moved to the left (same as the Triumph Trident T160)

I love the belt primary drive you have fitted to this bike. I think it would be a great improvement over the original chain drive. Again you have shown us your great skill in resurrecting another old bike. Giving it another lease of life. Thank-you.

Mali by ste vidieť, ako sme my v Československu opravovali Nortony 500 ES. Bez autorizovaných a vôbec, žiadnych servisov.

That swing arm is not for an 850 but an earlier 750. 850 sa had gussets the one in this vid does not have gussets .

Supposed to be crimped. Soldering is a bad idea.

Shame we didn't get to see the 'master' finish the spoke build on the rims and show us how it's done, or even fit the tyres

If you restore a Commando throw all original components of the motor in a dustbin, otherwise you get crazy about the poor quality and faults of construction.
By the way:forget the 850,the 750 is the sweater machine because of more power and rewing easyler

Belt is the least efficient drive system ,on an Isolastic a waste of time, money,andpower!-belt is good for less vibes- great on everything but a Isolastic Commando. 50 yr pro.- Sundquist Norton. -you tube 2019
