- Hello and welcome to episode 7 of Diary of an anxious bookworm!! In this episode I ran away to the seaside, got some excellent book mail and also treated myself to a few bits and pieces from independent shops!

All the animals!!!! Furred, feathered, wooly, shelled, and gilled!!!! I loved the b-role!🥰 pretty soap, and the comfy cardigan , and books! Seems like a successful holiday.

Oooh fancy that new one from Heidi Swain. Skegness!! Oh my, last time I was there (about 28 years ago) my daughter was only about 2, good memories. That was really a great thing to do for yourself, just bugger off for a few days. Maybe one day…..
I honestly recommend ANYONE does it. Its nice to spend a few days just being alone with yourself :)

Wow you did so much. I need to go back as I went to to the diving experience. If it's your thing do it it was amazing being the fish. I love anything that involves animals.

Yay for can't spell treason without tea arriving! I am glad you had such a good time away as well. I really liked the adam kay I read which is his first and most famous one (forgetting the title) but I definitely got the looking down on patients vibe from it as well and it has made me not want to read any more of his books unfortunately as it made me feel a bit too iffy while reading!
Yeah, theres still a little bit of that in his new book, but actually really enjoyed it as he shares some things around his sexuality and mental health that made me feel like maybe he was ... how do I put it, like self reflecting? Im still not 100% keen on him, but I can understand what he's been through more if that makes sense.

I have osteoarthritis in my joints and in constant pain but my hubby and I thing the CBD bubble bars from LUSH help. They’re £9 each but we half them and crumble in the bath. I swear by them.
Ohhh I didn’t know lush did them! I only have a shower at home but the cbd balm has been really helping me 😘
