Been playing ArmA since 5th grade. I’m in my mid/late 20s now. Thank you guys for making such a fun series.
I started Operation Flashpoint when I was 4 years old with my Dad. Best series ever, I feel indebted to them for so much passion and enjoyment for so long.

I don't know, man. Sure, it's great and all that. But the game is a far cry from being ready for a 1.0 release IMO
Yeah, it has its things, but it's getting better on every update. I see that as a good thing!@@OffTheHizzle
Some things I think the game could use:
-Ability to drag downed teammates
-Helicopters could have the possibility to transport vehicles (sling)
-For co pilot in heli to grab controls if main pilot dies or is injured
-Helicopter dust wash would be good when landing(noticed it on ocean but not over land)
-More dynamic weather system(maybe some thunderstorms,more fog,maybe some snow in certain areas
-some more camo options for both USA and RUS
-Handheld flares(i know there will be some for the grenade launchers but as throwables will be good)
None of the helicopters can fit vehicles.
@@AlfieTull Hueys can slingload, not literally fit the damn vehicle inside of it if your thinking that.
@@AlfieTull i think he is talking about using ropes or similar to lift vehicles in the air, not to fit a vehicle inside a heli.
So the Mil Mi 8 doesn't exist in your version?
@@AlfieTull The MI 8 can fit some vehicles inside, so i f you know that, why the afirmation of "None of the helicopters can fit vehicles."
Arma Reforger feels like MFCTI from Cold War Crisis and is insanely enjoyable.

I just got my first pc like 6 month's ago and i got squad it was too millsim nothing ever happened for most of a match, reforger just feels more alive on the map like a bsd company match
@@Chevalier_knight I would think ARMA is more milsim than Squad, and Squad is more approachable. I think you got unlucky on server/squad selection.

This is the perfect opportunity to bring back Capture The Island game mode from Operation Flashpoint days. Glad they brought Everon back, it brought back so many memories. If you're not familiar with CTI you have a.i resistance in every town that you eliminate and take control of the town all while earning income for each town you control. There are two teams with each team having a Commander. The Commander is responsible for building a base that supplies the players with a barracks, vehicle factory, tank factory, and aircraft factory, The commander also is responsible for setting up base defenses. The base can be built where you want on the map, and you can even build multiple bases if needed. So, in short it becomes a game of track down the enemy base and destroy it to win or control every town on Everon for 2 minutes to win. Imagine 32 vs 32 players and then each player has 11 a.i soldiers under their control. Makes for massive fights and convoys.
That sounds super fun, I feel like if they went that route they’d probably revamp their base building to accommodate building a legitimate base anywhere but regardless it sounds nice. Wish it could be a mod or be a official thing one day
i mean, the conflict game mode is pretty similar to capture the island. you progress across the map, taking different locations for your team for total domination over the island. that sounds like capturing an island to me lol.
@@Spuds1411 Its too half assed. They need to stay true to the original format. Having 2 commanders to build bases wherever you want would be nice. This feel far more clunky than the original OFP days.
CTI is in my opinion the best arma gamemode, been playing it since arma2 personally, over into arma3, then BECTI and building on top of that I made my own BECTIDAF focused on ww2 CTI with mods. Been playing it over the years with my own community and others and improving and expanding it. It's the gamemode for arma per-excelance since it has the best combined arms out there. It forces people to use multiple assets and no game is the same. And being able to buy and control AI it allows for fun big battles even with fewer numbers

Reforger needs an equivalent of the Eden editor. Something between the overly complex Workbench and the overly simple Game Master.
i cant belive the game came out without the ability to command ai . bro just copy paste it from arma 3. heck copy paste it from counter strike 1.5 so they will atleast follow you
I always was boring of new shooter games, but this one is a really nice military simulator 👏🏻 and very fun!

I played a match of Conflict Everon for 7 hours, it was amazing, the game is worth of buying and playing now, buy the game, join me on the battlefield
I hope to see a proper FULL SCREEN SUPPORT not the borderless one. Aswell FSR 2.0 or 3.0 not the 1.0 who is in the game curently! Aswell a compleatly FREE to choice a controler button mapping and HOTAS Support , plus TRACK IR5 support! If this is the final version and only few more patches to come ...i hope in one of them to see all this mentioned above!

I love BI but I really hope they take single player seriously. The original Op Flash campaign still remains their finest work in my opinion (although Arma 2 was an interesting concept which I think could work if given more polish in a new engine). I know MP is where this game lies for many people, and I understand I played with a milsim online group back when I was in the UK, but I now don't have so much time for that as I'm older and also live in a country without much of a PC gaming scene. It'd expand their audience a great deal I'm sure.

Series X framerates aren't looking too hot currently.... especially for a "1.0" full release.
I run it fine. even on series s.
I get 60 fps on my series x. It might drop to 53 at the lowest. Try choosing the low graphics option.
Ok, now the game is starting to become a real Arma title, keep going!

It’s a great game and has come along way. Very fun detailed and engaging. HOWEVER I don’t think it takes a genius to know it needs better servers as some aspects, especially vehicles cause the game to lag, taking away the immersion. Sometimes the game can’t even handle its own vanilla features

An eden like editor and proper fully functional AI please! A lot of us are just people who like to mess around in the editor and don't care much about multiplayer. Please do something for us too!
Same with dayz, the old roadmap and promises like helicopters, duck hunting, the extra Island with water landing planes and boats to reach it... the list is so much more longer. But yeah, they also call this a finished game and reduced the original team to a small group so they can develop the next product called reforger and repeat everything.

Reforge 1.0 should be released along with new singleplayer scenarios, even full storyline. Sadly this is not happening?
I'm looking foward to free and payed content as singleplayer story and aditional missions, new guns and vehicles even new fractions.

You really should Improve the explosions and particles to be the same like in "Squad" or "Post Scriptum"... In the current state, they are really not that good and seems to be a bit outdated... Good explosions and particle effects in general are a huge immersion push.

I hope you make all the tools necessary for modders, maybe make role play game mode yourself as well ? It will bring a lot of players from GTA Online, dont make it strictly a hardcore simulator!) Arma 3 RP was one the best gaming expriences ever.
They not only made the tools available for everyone, but are also asking directly in person modders for feedback. Beside project zomboid, this is the first time I see such things happening by any company
