Dearest Andreea, It’s quite understandable that you would “imagine” the birth experience the way you did as you’ve never done it before. You shouldn’t feel foolish about the “dream” you envisaged. It sounds as though you were taken care of very well at the hospital.
Congratulations on the birth of your tiny little human. Eden is a lovely name.
They don’t tell expectant mothers that Caesarian delivery is major abdominal surgery. It will take some time to heal…some weeks. So be patient and caring with yourself.
    Bon Anniversaire young Eden

I have not ever given birth, at 67 that will never happen. I AM a mother, however. I married a man raising a boy and a girl, they are MY children, too. My son and daughter are now in their 30s, and still call me Mom. It didn't matter to me that my body had nothing to do with their birth, hadn't seen their first steps, not even their first day of school. It was love at first sight for me. I couldn't love them more. Enjoy your family! God bless!

    • @JB-pd3ir
      @JB-pd3ir 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

@@candaceion9622 I feel sad to hear your words. And you should not say even at 53 because it can hurt at any age as you watch your friends go through different milestones with their children that once again you will not have the chance to share (soon it will be seeing others having grandchildren). I really do not have an answer that I think could truly comfort someone that really wanted children but was unable. I will say if you really love kids than at least maybe volunteer to work with children. Ultimately, even if one has children, many times we do not know if they will grow up to be very involved with their parent's as they grow older. Never the less, I hope you find comfort from your soul (to be honest to hear your words saddened me and I wish peace and happiness for you).

I am so proud of you! I had three very different birthing experiences: a c-section, then a VBAC induction w/epidural, and third, a VBAC naturally with no pain medication. I can honestly say, each experience was so vastly different that I truly understand why some women can tolerate birth pains and some women cannot. With my VBAC induction I felt like the contractions never ended. They would get easier and then harder again but they were never ending and I could not take that. That was the pain for me that was bigger than I was. My third baby came flying out like a peach pit all on his own. Not you….you had natural labor, induced labor, and a c-section all in one pregnancy/birth! You are amazing…and so beautiful too. Your love for Eden is beautiful. Thank you for not being afraid to breast feed on camera!!!🤗

I was so afraid of induction (of the contractions after induction, which I heard are much stronger than the natural ones), that I wrote on my birth plan that if something happens I want straight Csection. Fortunately, I gave birth naturally, with an episiotomy.

I cried my eyes out. Why? I’m not even a mom. When your eyes had tears, I cried. When I’ve seen the baby, I cried. Jeeeez! I never wanted kids but after seeing you I feel like I might want one :))
You’re so beautiful and natural, and your baby is so lucky to have such amazing parents! Multa sanatate si bucurii! Lots of love

I had previously commented after watching your video thanking you for sharing and letting you know that I shared this with my children.
Yesterday, I was notified that the youngest of my three had been killed.
I am reaching out to thank you again for allowing me to share in your delivery story, which brought my own experiences to the surface and prompted me to tell my children how much I loved them and how blessed I am to be their mom.
    It was very heartfelt.
And while I ALWAYS told him how very much I loved him, I found sharing your video very beautiful and meaningful. I'm so glad I was able to teach out while I could.
    Thank you again.

Congratulations I have been thinking about you! I am so happy to see you and your gorgeous son! I remember bringing my 1st son home nothing compares to the person that made you a mother! My son is 19 and I remember every second of his life. I had 3 more (4 in 4 years) they are all special but nothing tops that 1st moment you become a mother. My Anthony is just as precious to me as the 1st time I looked at him. God bless you all. You look fabulous!

I rarely give comments on TH-cam and other platforms but when I heard your story about labour I literally burst into tears. My daughter is six now but everything in your story brought memories about my labour. I also had a plan, thought that I can stand a lot of pain but when it started it was literally unbearable, it hurt so so so much but despite all the efforts and my pain etc it also ended by c section and it also was such a rush and unexpected decision and when I heard that the nurse said that my baby stopped breathing and there needs to be done a c section asap I had that same shaking as you did, never ever was I so scared and terrified about my baby girl and when the pulse came back I couldnt stop shacking, then the quick surgery, everyone was waiting for me in the surgery room and all of it took aprox 10min and it was the longest ten minutes in my life….but when I heard her first cry which also wasn’t so quick I was the happiest person on the planet. I just wanted you to know that I’ve been there girl, I know what you are talking about and I know all that emotions and all the shaking as well ;) lots of love and health for all your family, wish you all the best on this new amazing journey :)

I was procrastinating on watching this video because I KNEW I’d be a mess. Annnnd I was right!!! Becoming a mom is the most incredibly indescribable experience. My daughter is almost 10 months old and I’m still just as emotional as I was when she was born. 🥰 Congratulations on your beautiful baby boy. Soak up every single moment. It goes way too fast! ❤️

I love how in your story, although it didn't go as you planned, you talked of the love for the baby. So many dwell forever on the birth plan and whether or not the "plan" happened, but in the end whatever it was a c section, epidural, natural, it doesn't matter- all of that is trumped by a new life!! Congratulations 🎉 So sorry for the painful recovery though. Hope you are feeling much better now. Way to skip fashion week!

Greetings from Canada and great to hear you are so happy to be home with baby eden. When I heard your story I was shocked that it was so much like mine 30 years ago. Yes induced labour is sooo much more painful and thank God for modern medicine and epidurals and emergency c-sections so there are no bad outcomes. I now have a strapping, handsome and intelligent young man who I am so proud to have in my life. Recovery from abdominal surgery and learning to care for a new baby is a double challenge and you seem up for the task. Go easy on yourself and it will take about another month before everything feels more normal. Of course Covid illness tossed in there on top of everything else seems just unbelievable. Poor Alex feeling so unwell at such a time!!! This will become a great family story. Discovering your lovely videos and Paris tours and trips have entertained me immensely during these trying times as I have spent so much time at home in the past two years. You feel like another daughter and I wish you and your family all the best 💕

Congratulations! Please don't feel bad about the pain level you experienced. Induced labor makes for harder contractions than natural labor. It's not your fault. Your baby is beautiful and you are glowing! So happy for you three. Edit: I just got to the part where your situation changed. I am so sorry you all went through that. How terrifying! You poor things. My heart goes out to you. So, so happy for you that it turned out well and you are all together. Wishing you and yours all the blessings of life!

He’s really cute, and really big too. I’m glad everything went well, it’s so hard when there are complications and it all becomes an emergency, and there’s no time to explain, just to act, as fast as possible. No wonder you were anxious, I’m sure everybody around you was frantic, but it all turned out great, even with COVID. Such an adventure, Eden will love to hear about it when he grows up. Lots of love, Sol
