Well done "Camera Crew" for keeping that little plane in frame. Brian, I really appreciate your reviews, they are the best. Thanks for the second look at this wonderful plane. I got the yellow one recently and I really enjoy it. E Flite is offering some great planes, their UMX line is awesome. I have been flying models since 1978 and I really enjoy these UMX planes. In fact, I think that they fly so well that a person can enjoy this hobby with them alone.
Kudos and praise for "camera crew" who is best there is on TH-cam for R/C. And Brian your flying skills are exceptional for the realistic style pilots. Thanks for these reviews.
Yeah man, total props to 'The Camera Crew'. She did amazing following you around. The plane seems very nice, stable, and predictable. Looking forward to flying mine.
A great little bi-plane! I'm blessed to have the 2s blue and white and I scored the 3s yellow and black! On 3s this thing is a real treat! Keep um coming Brian and CC!
Have just got the NX7E to pair with my Waco white after warching your very informative videos, thanks for that. After following you're set up i found a BNF option on the spektrum which i thought i would try. What is the difference in the two setups ( will be using yours by the way ) as i cant see much difference but im sure there is? Love your videos and try to buy via your links whenever i can as most dont ship to the UK.
Sent a couple of comments now with no reply yet and donated a small amount via PayPal, any chance of a reply soon? Have followed your you tube for quite a while now. Many thanks Chris
I “learned” to fly with my Wacos, great little planes I dont know what i like best, the way they fly, cheap batteries that charge in minutes, good looks. There are two things i dont like though, any wind above 5 mph will make flying challenging i lost 2 of them carried away by wind. 2) rebuilt them several times but last two were tail heavy and never flew right again. Ill always have one ready to go though great little plane tons of fun
Thanks for all the great, informative videos. You are responsible for too many of my aircraft purchases…. I have a quick question- i understand the use of an arming plug on larger electrics, and with my new NX8 does the “throttle cut” function negate the need for an arming plug? Thanks!
I love you're channel well done Brian. I have bought a few from your comments. I've not been able to buy via your links as I live in the UK and the link will only post to Canada and USA. I can get Banggood and Aliexpress and most model shops. Any chance of links that us poor relatives in the UK can buy from, to help you and us. Keep up the good work and can't wait for you're pond.
Hi! I just came across your comment while looking for something else... sorry for the slow reply! We do work with a number of companies that offer worldwide shipping. At last check, the following companies are able to ship worldwide: bprc.me/HorizonHobbyEU bprc.me/TurbinesRC bprc.me/RCGoing bprc.me/EXHOBBY bprc.me/Banggood bprc.me/FairRC Thank you so much for supporting our family in this way! We're glad to have you here with us!
Hi Brian! We love your videos! We really like the looks of this plane, a friend gave us a JR9303 transmitter and we were thinking of getting this, through your links of course, foe our first plane. Good idea or bad idea? We like the yellow one.
Brian I am a new member to your channel. It has been probably 15 years since I have flown a RC plane. I was not great at it but enjoyed it. I want to start flying again and wanted to get an Air Tractor UMX to relearn on. I also want to fry some of my old nitro planes. All my old stuff was Futaba. Is there any was use Futaba servos with Spectrum receiver and radio?
Futaba makes great stuff, and some of it might still work too, but I'd plan to get a few BNF (Bind and Fly) planes to get your legs back under you, and then if you want to invest in a current Futaba Rx, for maybe one of your older nitro planes from yeaster-year, that's fine, but just keep in mind, their stuff is WAY more expensive than Spektrum, in general. If you made the jump to Spektrum for a few planes, you won't regret it, BUT having Spektrum and Futaba simultaneously will make working with either platform somewhat difficult, since there's a LOT to learn about both. I obviously have a preference, and love Spektrum stuff, but if you really want Futaba - there is some help for that too out there...just a lot less of it (online, like what we do) Air Tractor - bprc.me/AirTractor Have you considered getting a BIG plane to play with, rather than the UMX? I get the draw for the small - cheaper, lower consequence, less investment early on, etc...BUT while these little planes really ARE AMAZING flying plane, they're just not the same as a bigger plane. Also, as you know from back in the day, larger planes DO actually fly a bit better....that being said, this is more of a rule, but the UMX planes are generally AMAZING analogs for their big sisters! They are definitely "Hobby Grade" but they're just more fragile, made of EPS (not EPO like the bigger ones), and still not "cheap" Just a few things to chew on. Welcome back to the hobby!!! We'll try to help get you back flying productively ASAP!!!
As someone who was out of the hobby for about the same time as you, I’d recommend getting a good simulator that you can connect your transmitter to. Real Flight works well for me. It connects wirelessly with an optional usb dongle. Good luck and have fun!
Brian, what's the most expo you can really program into the surfaces? I know its a subjective question. I can't fly without safe on for very long. I crashed my last five planes flying out of safe and got disoriented before I could switch it back out of experience mode. I need to learn to fly w/o safe. Its been like three years since I started and I feel quite discouraged with myself. Watching you fly this little guy in your yard in circles makes me want to be able to fly in small spaces when I don't have the time to drive 1/2 hour away. Back to my question. What is the highest percent I can actually enter in to my NX for expo? I've done like 30% on a few models and it didn't seem to help. I'm doing loops and rolls when I am just trying to fly a pattern. Thanks in advance
Do the Pitts or the Wacos have an option for flaps? Do we think it's necessary? I have very limited take off/landing areas and have always found flaps to be helpful
Would say the umx turbo timber evolution flies slower than the umx Waco? I am interested in both, but would like to get something that flies pretty slow.

The BEST rc camera work EVER...!!!
1000000% & Thanks!
Crew should get a medal for her following skills. She knows where you gonna fly 🫡
And all done in one take.
We spend A LOT of time together. It is definitely harder for me to film other people. :)
Yeah man, total props to 'The Camera Crew'. She did amazing following you around. The plane seems very nice, stable, and predictable. Looking forward to flying mine.
We love the Waco... such a fun little plane to fly around. It's a tricky one to film for sure!
Great video, so helpful. Thanks. 😊
Glad it was helpful! Thanks!!!
Brian and Megan, another great one, remember,I've been with you since parking lots and sidewalk
A great little bi-plane! I'm blessed to have the 2s blue and white and I scored the 3s yellow and black! On 3s this thing is a real treat! Keep um coming Brian and CC!

the hilarity @4:36 🤣 LoL camera crew is my hero and deserves hazardous duty pay 🤣LoL!!
That little guy knocks it out of the park!
Nice to see y'all are hanging in during this winter. Thanks for sharing! - John
Yes we are - the winter has gotta be done soon - we've had our fill of it ;)
What a little sweetie to fly!! sweet plane!
Camera crew one if not the best at what she does, good work.👍
Thanks! We're lucky to have her!
Brian: says he's not a good pilot
also Brian: shows he's a great pilot

i love how slow flying it is.
still cant decide on a first plane but if they offered this an an rtf i would probably go with this one.
Do the Pitts or the Wacos have an option for flaps? Do we think it's necessary? I have very limited take off/landing areas and have always found flaps to be helpful
The yellow one is back order😫....I can't decide on this one or the umx pitts🤔
I think that for a beginner it'd have to be offered in RTF.
Would say the umx turbo timber evolution flies slower than the umx Waco? I am interested in both, but would like to get something that flies pretty slow.
same here
great plane but i am gonna wait for it to start coming to resale mkt about 50-80 bucks cheaper like all of them do
Remote ID or not I’m gonna enjoy all of it. #donttreadonmytoys
Hang-low sweet windsock. HANG-LOW LOL
I have the old one. It taught me how to fly. It flies crooked now. Lol
Does " crew "kick you in the shin when you get indoors ? LOL
