Mam in the second part we can also use the formula
(x-y)whole cube = x cube - y cube - 3xy (x-y )
And also:
X cube - 3x²y + 3xy² -y cube
We can also solve the 2nd sum by using (x-y) whole cube= x cube -y cube -3xy (x-y)

I think because we might not get the answer which we have to get written on back page of the text where chapter's answers are given but i would say that when you do these questions in ruff book or during exams do with the appropriate identity
