Hey, I hope you are still replying to comments. First of all I really appreciate this video because it was the exact thing i was searching for, the range of the interception abilities. But I notice you said somewhere that there are no ships capable of protecting the entire fleet, but I am looking at my Spear of Uranus with the Anti Missile system module (Module C3), the missile system has anti aircraft support for the entire fleet, and has interception capability, so assuming by your information that the un-upgraded module stating its anti aircraft range is the intercept range as well, it means the spear can protect the whole fleet from missiles. How can you tell the number of interceptions from a battle report? Also if you have interception in your front row, does that help the rows behind it since the missiles have to pass through the front row first?
Go to your Anti-air report for your BR. It will show interceptions there. Interception works similar to AA range. You either protect only the ship (self), or the row. I am not aware of any intercept that protects the fleet.
Spear is a menace to missiles tho, this module can intercept 925 missiles per min, and its b1 can intercept another 54 while providing 600 more aa and 6k anti small ship missile dmg, i wouldnt use it over the armor wich is a b module too iirc but if you dont have armor it can be worth it to minmax intercept while helping the thing dish out even more dmg. Basically you have a half light cone strapped to one of the most tanky ships all in one front row package
I would just use normal taurus if you dont run frontline bc, since taurus is just a meatblob to take and deal dmg. A mid row intercept like mare t or light cone could be better imo, since missiles and torps tend to target the important stuff. But there is 2 ways to play intercept, you dont, or you go all out on it
That all sounds very interesting, but would be really nice if you could show the battle reports with the thousands of interceptions, or test the numbers your theory postulates by actual battles with fleets designed to do that, meaning that you can easily extract and process the battle data. yeah, it would be nice if he would not just explain a blueprint but show some proof of his ideas. a lot of stuff looks nice in the blueprint but in battle/reality it sucks.
The whole point of these videos is to give the information and recommendation to go and try these yourself and think about what you've got that can work around the information given with what you've got access to. NJ isn't going to show you all the BRs of his testing but giving you the tools to get ahead of the curve. If you don't get on board with interception, stay stuck in the past wondering why you can't be competitive in top tier pvp. P.s I can vouch for this because I tested my fleet against NJs to provide conclusive results at a high level pvp engagement. Have a great day. STFUSummer.

Of course we don't need tons of data but at least some kind of explanation and additional information how he came to that conclusion - that would be very interesting and it would make the claim more credible :-)

Yes, you are correct. When I made the video i actually did not realize the C3 mod protects the whole fleet.
