We had a sudden downpour of hailstones while I was eating a baked potato in the park under a parasol. I held on tight while everything around was being pulled up into the air, it was crazy. Lovely vlog, you really captured that turn in atmosphere, it must be welcome after the long hot days. Here, we’ve enjoyed some sunny days but the fluffy socks are out ❤️👌✨
With you as well! We are in full-blown Fall here in Canada’s capital. It’s not October and yet the trees are ablaze with oranges, golds and reds! It’s so beautiful yet, I always feel melancholy about it because our winters are far too long. We go from bright to white in a matter of weeks and we stay white and gray for 5-6 months (with the exception of the bright blue sky on the extremely bitter (-40) cold days).
Nicki, agree with the melancholy feel at end of season,thunderstorms,gathering at Nonnas for lunch etc. Love her dried figs btw. I cant believe what some people comment on your instagram🤪. Theres obviously not much going on in their lives. You have one and thank you for sharing some of it with us who appreciate the time you put into your showing it to us.🥰

And we're just back from a trip to Christchurch where we had THE best meal at Tutto Bene, an Italian restaurant, with the owner from Napoli. We spent a day in September 2019 on that same boat with Massimo. It was a fabulous, memorable day. My husband, son and daughter in law loved every moment of that day and we will never forget it. He took us to Capri and also to two of the grottos. We were able to swim into the caves which were breathtakingly beautiful. Best day ever!!!!

Come rain or shine - mouthwatering food and breathtaking scenery. How I envy you living in such a beautiful country. You still make my week and I really look forward to Sunday’s. Melbourne still in lockdown, unable to travel more than 5Kms or go to visit friends. Curfew finished (thank goodness) but apart from dog walking and food shopping have nowhere to go. Nice way of life to feed yourselves from your own land without all the herbicides and pesticides most our food in the US are grown with.
