I love, love, love softly hearing your dad hammering in the background. It reminds me of my own father who died many years ago. Sorry that i am so talkative today. No need to respond.
My father used to build houses and in the summers I would work with him. What I would give to hear him working again. He is several states a away in the US but can no longer work. So for me, hearing your father was wonderful!! I loved the notepad idea. Because I never know what to get my sister and this would be great for her office.
Very useful project and I love that wall paper. There's a room in my house that it would look good on. That stitch is a whip stitch and it does add beauty. I am so jealous of the Dutchies now! I wish I could go to Doeading to meet you and buy a paper pack!
I’ve said this before, you are the fastest growing channel I watch and so well deserved. I wish I could just hop on a flight and meet you, but well, life! My dream is to travel in the next year and meet all my favorite artists across the pond. Love and well wishes this holiday season.
So so very cute. Just thinking that if you wish to refill your notepad would a horizontal belly band or a tall pocket on the back page to slip pad into work? Thanks to all who suggested using sewing machine for perforations.
Love the notebook ingenious idea to use wallpaper never thought to use . 😅😅😅 Oh yet congratulations 🎉 on the 30,000.🎉🎉🎉 I see your dad is keeping busy.❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
✨❄️⛄Lovely⛄❄️✨ Lovely nice and ezy Margreth, my eyes got big as my tea cup when you say sewing, but you do you amazing ❣️❣️❣️ Sounds in the house is hyggeligt theres no word for the danish word, but geussing cosy will do ❣️❣️❣️ Thank you very much for shareing its always a pleasure ❣️❣️❣️
I was going on December 9th, we would have fun, lovely project today, can't wait till Wednesday, have a winderful day. big hugs and kisses to the cats. :)
Love watching your videos in the morning with my coffee, Margreth ❤ It's so great seeing your channel grow - your creativity and dedication are so inspiring! Like the other commenters, loved listening to Dad work on the staircase 😊 Wishing you all the best on Saturday! Would so love to hop over the Channel and be there ❤ Maybe one time you'll do a meet and greet during the summer, and I'll have another good reason for a holiday in the Netherlands! 😅
Margreth hello, you have been a busy lady. You have had so many great ideas. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching everyone of your videos, thought it was high time I commented again. I’ve watch some of the last video 2-3 times. Hope you had a great Saturday with your meet and greet. Hugs from Indiana in the US
I have such a thing for little notebooks like this handsome one.❤❤ Watching you cut the gold banner points for the front cover... thought for you. Remember how you clip a corner for a tag and reverse it to match the other corner for clipping? You could always take the "v" you clipped from one side and use it as the template for the other side. No need to measure. In fact just use it to mark the center point to clip up to.😊 Lovely project ❤
For the banner thing I usually use the first triangle, flip it, and use it as a template, just the same as the corners you cut off tags 😊 see you Saturday!!!🎉🎉
Has your Dad ever sat and watched one of your videos? I'd love to think he has and that he enjoyed it. But if he hasn't he probably thinks it a little strange that you sit in a room talking to yourself for hours at a time!😘😊 I do that and I don't have a YT channel😂 Your paper pack looks great and i love the little notebook. Cutting the flag shape symmetrically is a challenge. I usually make a vertical cut to the height I want then cut from either side to that point. ↗️⬆️↖️👍TFS❤
Oh how I wish I could see you at your meet and greet! It’s a little far lol. Love your packets you’re going to be selling there, I’m sure you’ll sell out. Wishing you all the best with the event and thanks for another lovely project video!
I LOVE to watch you and listen to you talking, you make me laugh a lot at times in a fun way. I wish I still had my mom n dad. Lost my dad in 2018 that loved to always refurbish/tinker with something and my mom to covid in 2020. Keep up the fabulous videos!!!!!!
Beautiful! I was thinking you could make a pocket for the thicker back of the notepad to slip into rather than glueing it down. That way you could refill the lovely notebook cover. Maybe even be able to reuse those adorable screw brads. Always a delight watching you work. 😊
You come up with the most wonderful projects - and so many are made using odds and ends of things which I enjoy. I love hearing your Dad in the background hammering away!! I have not seen the perforating tool before - what is it called ? I would like to obtain one myself.
Very nice stitching. i think it is whipped stitch. I be lieve blanket stitch has a thread that runs between the whipped stiches. You can't sew, i can't explain!😊
You can run straight stitch through the note paper bunch without thread in the sewing machine for perforation. Works perfect. I don’t have that TH tool 😂 Thanks dear for the cutest project! Glad your dad is doing great.
Do you mean this whole week? We just get to see what we’ll be missing?? Ahhh, it’s so painful!! I also just have to say I noticed today you used old wallpaper. Are you really gonna let them throw the carpet away?? Think how many journal covers you could get out of it!!!😂😂 And aren’t dads the best! ❤❤
Dad's are precious people love to your dad for fixing the stairs
Thanks 😊
Cute notepad and I agree that it would be a great gift.
😁👍🏻
I love "bits and bobs" you make me giggle

Call it Papa in the house! I love to hear him. We would like to meet him sometime.

I love, love, love softly hearing your dad hammering in the background. It reminds me of my own father who died many years ago. Sorry that i am so talkative today. No need to respond.

Love the project ❤! Your dad working in the background touched my heart - my dad passed away on this day (Dec 4, 2016). 💔
So sorry lovey 😌

😁👍🏻😘
You could use a corner of a square punch to get those indents.
Great idea 😁
Love your dad as background mood music. My dad did all my handyman and honeydo list and I paid him with cookies and pies
😁👍🏻🥰
Happy to see that you are making better friends with your Mr. Tim Holtz Media Trimmer! Nice little project and good luck with your meet and greet.
Thanks 😊
My dad was a builder too. I still have the photo of him renovating my staircase and I cherish it. ❤ to the ambience.
🥰😘
My heart’s desire would be to come to your Meet and Greet and then after teach you to use your sewing machine. Darn ocean is in the way.
Thanks sweetheart 😘

Thank you ☺️
I would call your stitch a whip stitch. A blanket stitch has thread that runs along the edge also.
FABULOUS…love the dad noise ❤️❤️❤️
😁😘
It is so wonderful that your Dad is busy. I don’t mind hearing him in the background. Lovely folio. Blessings from Canada 🇨🇦
Thanks sweetheart 🥰

Thanks 😊
So so very cute. Just thinking that if you wish to refill your notepad would a horizontal belly band or a tall pocket on the back page to slip pad into work? Thanks to all who suggested using sewing machine for perforations.
I was thinking about that 😉

This is such a lovely notepad!❤
Thanks 😊
This really is cute - I love it. FYI - you can make perforations by sewing across your page using a straight stitch WITHOUT thread...
☺️👍🏻
You come up with the most wonderful projects - and so many are made using odds and ends of things which I enjoy. I love hearing your Dad in the background hammering away!! I have not seen the perforating tool before - what is it called ? I would like to obtain one myself.
Thanks 😊 I have no clue what it is called. Found it locally in a shop

In Canada we call them “tack cards”.
👍🏻😁
I have put some tape at the top of the ribbon , that also worked 😁👍🏻
You could also do your perforating by sewing it with your machine but no thread. 😂😂😂
I love this!
Please can you tell me where you got your score board from? Its a great size. Thank you 😊
I found it at action , a Dutch shop like the dollar tree 🥰
Do you mean this whole week? We just get to see what we’ll be missing??
Ahhh, it’s so painful!!
I also just have to say I noticed today you used old wallpaper. Are you really gonna let them throw the carpet away?? Think how many journal covers you could get out of it!!!😂😂
And aren’t dads the best!
❤❤
They are , well mine is 😂👍🏻🥰
Leuk idee 👍🏻😁

👍🏻👍🏻😁
