- In the spirit of super long videos being the thing on TH-cam now, here is a compilation of the entire build. This was a project I did 2 years ago. I took a small enclosed trailer and turned it into a camper. This build was a ton of fun, I hope you enjoy!

“Everything takes longer than you think.” No truer words were ever spoken. In fact, if I had room in my 6x12, I’d make a sign in the best hobby lobby inspirational font for the inside of the trailer with this exact quote. Building a trailer conversion isn’t for the feint of heart, but I love mine.
I'm thinking about getting an 6x8 cargo trailer and doing this. I don't need as much space and I need to keep the weight down for towing with smaller under powered vehicles. Thank you for filming this video. 😊

The high and low vents you covered are to relieve air pressure in the trailer. If you're getting a lot of dust while driving dirt roads you'll want to open these. Nice job.
I actually haven't noticed dust at all! I appreciate the advice though!
I’ve had trailers just like this… my recommendation, heated floor.
The high vent will increase the air pressure elevated in the trailer, reducing the dust in the trailer when driving on dust roads in the west.

You did an AWESOME job 👌👍👍👍👍 You kind of remind me in my "younger" days, (Always working, busy with multiple side projects, ). I'm approaching retirement at age 64 now, and I am planning out a Cargo trailer build for myself, .... You gave me a few GREAT ideas that I saw in your own design, which I may use !! Question : how has the Epoxy floor paint held up, thus far ...?? And what are you using to tow the Cargo trailer with ?? "Thank you" for posting this GREAT content !!! Eric
Thanks a ton Eric! I appreciate the feedback! I'm glad I could help with your build. The epoxy held up great while I had it and I was not easy on the floor. I was hauling it with a Toyota Highlander. It was rough on the Highlander and took my mpg from 24 to 10. So if I were to do it again I'd spend the extra bit of money and get an aluminum trailer to save on as much weight as possible.
I bet aerodynamics is the biggest issue and not so much the weight.
As a Master Roaster, I approve of the French Press...

U can always cut the plastic sink piping
I don’t know about covering those vent holes. Condensation may build up cause if it gets cold and windows are all shut up
It was never an issue. I've camped in it in temps down into the teens.

😂😂 yes I did. The epoxy needs n the floor in there is hella thick, and I flex sealed everything in the bathroom. Also a fat bead of caulk in every corner

How does the shower drain? I must have missed that
I put a hole in the floor and got one of those sink drains that click in and out. I always just let it drain right under the trailer.
