I want to ask, in an indeterminate static portal structure, is it the same model for the depiction of deflection lines for each working load for force loads with distribution loads.
For example, in your example portal deflection method with pedestal fixed , using a force load parallel to the member BC, is it the same treatment of even loads?

Is equilibrium still apply to members AB and BC ? The Moments are not the same in Members AB and BC......
