On today's episode we take the 1,000 horsepower Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk drag racing at Milan Dragway for the Livernois Motorsports & Engineering Test n Tune.
We run into some pretty fast cars, including a Twin Turbo Cadillac CTS-V, and a built Volkswagen Bug.

Almost had that 9 sec pass. You just need a 1.42 sixty foot and you’ll get that 9 sec pass.
The temperature was dropping fast towards the end of the night.
If I could of made one more pass I know I would have got that 9

The stock supercharger is holding me back.
That and the engine issue.
You can get these in the 9s with just bolt ons.
My built transmission and engine are just for reliability, they don’t make it faster.

I had RSPDMV install a stage 2 interchiller from Forced Induction with the high flow pump.
The pump isn’t necessary but it helps a little more.

honestly, that's gotta settle it. unless you're gonna pour another 100hp or so, stick to 1st gear launch.

It does okay for weighing 5,400 plus pounds.
It just takes a lot of horsepower.

Yep that’s how it’s done 👍🏻. Just make sure you don’t deep stage and you won’t red light. Not sure if anyone knows but the beams have a little play. If you shallow stage just enough to get the light on this gives you a rolling start in a way and allows to leave on the last yellow giving a good reaction which equates to better times and more consistency. Tricks of the trade. If you didn’t know now you do. If you did know good for you.
@@joshreynolds729 I was told to do that by a guy that was known as one of the best racers back in the late 70's-80's and I would keep Red lightning and he told me I was staging to deep to stage where you just get the 2nd light to come on and it took me some practice and a few runs but once I got it down I was treeing everyone and my times got better also

They hook good when hot, be careful when the tread gets low.
Especially in the rain and in the winter.
They do not like the cold.
