I actually think there is a decent gap opening up between 9 clubs (the super league 6, Villa, Newcastle and West Ham) and the rest, and if you assume City and Arsenal finish the top 2, I can see being incredibly competitive amongst the rest for the other places. As a Villa fan I think we could finish anywhere between 3rd and 9th. Leicester, Southampton and Forest go down.

People forget how difficult it is for smaller teams to maintain form after a really good season. Leicester finished 12th the season after winning the league
I think people are overhyping Newcastle based on one good season. A good season where a lot of the regulars weren’t at it. I think Villa fall off too due to CL. I think that Spurs are more slept on if Newcastle and Villa are being rated above them. And as for it just being Son or Maddison…. You could argue same for Villa if Watkins and Bailey are out, or Newcastle if Gordon and Isak are out. Plus Spurs have other options which now include Solanke.
Chelsea definitely not getting top six. A manager who is an unknown quantity. A defence that looks very leaky. Compare Chelsea’s back 4 to Spurs back 4 and Spurs back 4 is clear.

These predictions are alaway the same bullshit. People guide themselves based on the last year even when things change drastically. Football is very unpredictable and people still go with the "safe" options.
