So many sassy Lithuanians who cannot get over the fact Lolita Zero lost not only within the Jury, but also within the televote. Get a grip, Lolita was a theater, but Monika Liu is a true art.
I don't know why but there's an aura around this song as if it could be a French entry: the genre and musical styling, the staging, her hair, the outfit - it all feels Parisian and I think that will aid in its chances at ESC.
Her visual style is a sort of mix of interwar fashion during 1920s and 1930s and musically she bridges gap between modern sound and soviet era female singers like Nelė Paltinienė (in 1970s, 1980s), disco sounds (late ABBA "The day before you came", Donna Summers, James Bond sountracks etc.). But yeah... this performance has some similarities (in a sense of general feeling) to last year's France's entry " Voila"
