My mom says it has been fun watching me expand my horizons in Utah, hanging out with old friends and extended family, and seeing me flourish in my esthetician program what I am up to in my dating life! I've been posting photo and story updates on our IG and many of you have been asking me for a tutorial on my new signature hairstyle!
Today, I will show you how to create these adorable Double Dutch Braids into Twisty Buns! My mom has filmed a few similar tutorials over the years, but this is my DIY interpretation for you!

Yay I’m so glad to see Brooklyn doing a hairstyle! 😀 Also wanted to share how I like to prep my hair after washing it and when it dries 95%: Apply 2-3 drops of coconut oil onto my scalp for some moisture and grip. My mom has been doing it on my hair since I was a little girl. Once I do that, I’m good to go with any hairstyle :)

Unpopular opinion: Love the braids, but I really reeeally don't like those 2 stringy pieces out in front. They always migrate right in front of her lovely eyes and it's so distracting! I do like the pieces pulled out by the ears though.
