I think you pretty much nailed a lot of the issues but I can't say I thought as kindly as you did about it! There's too many plot disasters to mention them all, but not only does she seem to simply slide into the cop's family but, if he cares for her so much that he let's her sleep with his daughter in her bed, why the fuck didn't he at any point convince her to press charges? Or was that one of the parts I fell asleep? :) Unlike in Midsommer, where the protagonist begins somewhat mentally unstable and slowly regains a sense of confidence and feeling of belonging, "C" starts off as a basket case and just stays that way regardless - until of course the final scene when she's suddenly an independent, powerful woman suddenly ready to break the rules and risk her life. Oh it just hurt to watch.... awesome review though mate!
